  It's well with it for the MX Anywhere 3 over the 2S in my opinion. The 2S required pressing the button being the wheel for the middle click which I could never get used to.

  The scroll wheel feels great compared to previous MX series mouses. Being machined steel, I don't think it will corrode.

  Does Bluetooth mouse consume more power than wireless mouse from the AA battery?

    Since every manufacturer is using a different model of transmitter, power consumption may vary considerably. But if you're asking about Logitech Unifying vs Bluetooth, the latter would be more power hungry.

      I used a $16 bluetooth mouse from kmart, compare to a logitech wireless mouse. I thought the mouse was defective but I realised later on it drains the battery. So for a logitech wireless, an AA battery can last at least a year, but the same AA battery only lasted a few months! The reason why I used bluetooth so that I can free up a usb port on my laptop that has only got one usb port and 2 usb C ports. Yes there are usb hub, but it is connected by a wire, I want something smaller that attaches to a laptop so it gets connected to the laptop permanently.
