WTFFFFFFF how hard is it to put ice cube tray in freezer

  • Got one built-in on my fridge. Very handy to have indeed. In fact, it's heaven sent. But for a stand-alone unit like this? I think the price is way too much.

  • I've got one of these and it's not great. After a while the ice sticks together in one big clump preventing any more to drop in the tray until the big clump melts. It's a PIA.

I used to have one of these —-> https://www.mytopia.com.au/polycool-3-2l-portable-ice-cube-m…

It was a million times better for the first 6 months. It was 10 times faster than the Devanti, the ice container is bigger, the ice didn't stick together, so there was always twice as much in the tray….a huge amount.

However, it then died after 6 months and I went with the Devanti which was a mistake because it's pretty crap. I'm thinking about buying another Polycool for Summer in case the other one was a dud. It was brilliant when it worked.
