The two tap handles look plastic.
Bought a few of the 4 packs several yrs ago - can recommend, they're very good quality.
Did you have to change o ring during this period or still going with the originals.
Was literally thinking about these on Monday.
Do they have any other brass fittings?
Yes based on the pic in the catalog. Will be picking up a few types.
How do I check which ALDI branch has them
I don't know how accurate it is but Aldi does now have a stock check site:
https://www.stockcheck.aldi.com.au/@whitcut Great link!
Have you noticed how accurate it is from using the website then going in store?Sorry, I have only used it once or twice, and it was days after the item was in store. It was was correct those times, but my store did still have a few of the item when I went in. So they probably were not quick selling items.
I did also notice it says that it only updates the day after they are in store, so probably not so useful for finding quick selling items.
+1 for me. They make for good projectiles as well.
I recommend swapping out your faucet with one of these instead:

Thanks for the recommendation. Didn't know that these existed!
What's a faucet? :p
We speak Australian 'round here!
Like it.
thanks,
kids just broke the plastic tap 2 weeks ago, and I pulled out my standby plastic one.
the brass one should serve much longer…Brass = fantastic. I bought the Brass Hose Accessories (4pc) from Aldi last year. All said, there is a weak link which is fairly annoying.
The brass hose connector that goes onto your hose (and allows you to connect the adjustable nozzle) has a plastic ring hose grip. It is fairly low quality, doesnt grip that hard, and water p*sses out of the connector. Tried a number of things to fix it, and eventually, goes back to it's leaking state.
Anyone else have this issue? If so, do you have any tips on how you fixed it?
I had the same issue. No luck fixing it so went back to my old plastic connector
My 4 pcs lasted about a month. It doesn't handle water mains with high pressure very well. The internal spring popped out randomly on 2 of the pcs.
hopefully bunnings does a price match of something similar. these didnt last on the shelves at aldi last time
AFAIK, Bunnings will price match if it's the same product, and in stock.
historically bunnings have dropped the price of similar items to "match" aldi.
bunnings pricematch incoming 3 2 1
Anyone use or used the sprayers?
https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys/special-buys-wed-29-…I had a previous version of the pattern sprayer (looked very slightly different) and the trigger mechanism broke after a year or so. Was good, but not amazing quality…
I had the brass nozzle one, spring in the trigger broke within a year.
I also have had their premium brass nozzle that has a plastic slider to control the flow. Slider snapped within a year.
I am now back to their plastic nozzle with a plastic slider. Still working fine after a few years.
empty shelves at my local Aldi this morning - plenty of hose reels, but no sign of the accessories ever having been there.
practially untouched supply at Arndell Park around 10am
Quakers hill nothing left - or did they not get stock in? they had hoses…
Sick of breaking plastic ones - thanks OP going to grab some of these for sure.
