  • Redeemed s21 plus about 45 minutes ago, used trade in, newsletter and eds code. Cds/ods code I applied for a couple of days ago is yet to come and probably won't arrive at all so bit the bullet

            @hawkeye93: There is no pickup store in NSW. I decided to buy it and talk to Samsung tomorrow and see if they can deliver it or not. Otherwise I will cancel the order.

  • Ordered on Wednesday 29th (when it was "restocked") and received a text this morning to say its been despatched. Sounds like it's a bit of luck of the draw.

    We hope you're enjoying your new phone. We are yet to receive your original device which you agreed to return as part of your Samsung Trade-Up order (If you've recently returned your device please ignore this email).

    Returning your original phone is as simple as:

    1 - Transfer your data to your new phone
    2 - Unlock and disable all passwords and security features on your original device
    3 - Erase any data by performing a factory reset and remove your sim card

    5 - Australia Post will take your original device and return it (at no charge) when you show them the eParcel label attached to this email

    Plaed an order on Wed night, and got tax invoice on Thu morning, the phone is arrived in Melbourne now. S21 128G Grey

    • Lucky you. I ordered my S21 5g 128gb same time as you and still waiting for StarTrack to pick up my phone from warehouse for delivery in Sydney. Samsung shows phone dispatched but after chatting to Samsung phone is still in warehouse waiting to be picked up.

  • Looks like Fold3 256gb will cost $1349 now (excluding $60 admin fee) if you stack all 4 vouchers. Is it worth buying at that price or wait for it to drop further?

    • There was a sale on Fold 2 @ $1049 2 months ago. So I reckon Fold3 at that price is really good as it was recently released.

  • How long Asurion take to deduct trade-in value in case of non-return ? Its been 9 days since I received the new device but no deduction yet.
    Also, has anyone got charged for $60 admin non-return fees ?

    • others said that fee will be waived. So you just need to pay for the trade-in value.

      • From the past deal, they'd send 1st email after u get the phone telling us to send within 7 days. About a week later they'd send 2nd one to say we have 48 hours to send. Then they'd actually charged about a week later. So, yeah around 2-3 weeks.

    Wouldn't put too much faith in those SMS ETA dates. I ordered on the 16th and still waiting, called Startrack and they said if no scans/updates on the tracking by Monday to give them a call back. I'm in NSW Regional

  • can anyone still get the $100 voucher for upgrading (not for a damaged phone)?

    • Yes you can if your phone is out of warranty and giving you problems. In my case I said my Galaxy S9 slows down over time. I was asked by chat support if a factory reset worked and I said after doing a reset the phone works normally but over time and after installing my usual apps my phone slows down again. I was then asked to take photo of front of phone showing IMEI on screen and rear of phone. The phone is in pristine condition. Phone was validated an hour after emailing photos and I received EDS $100 voucher.

      • I've tried 3 agents and all 3 have told me that the only code offer there is, is for physically damaged phones.. when did you try?

    Anyone's order still "Waiting for Approval"? Ordered a navy blue S21 Ultra on the 28th as that was the only one available. The status hasn't changed since. Tried to call the ecommerce department yesterday, no one answered. Also emailed them asking for an update and no replies yet.

        I've seen some posts mentioning if you call the ecommerce department they tend to speed things up. Have you tried calling?

          I called just now and they said there was an 'error' in the backend of the system. They will have to manually push it through the order process and said I'd get an email up in the next 3-5 days…

          Best give them a call now, the wait was only a few mins.

            @truongd89: Just called and they said they will send the order through now, thanks for the heads up! Said it should change from "waiting for approval" to "progressed" in the next 2 to 3 days.

              • @truongd89: It did last night. I also got an email with a tax invoice saying "Your Galaxy Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G order has been received" and the pending payment on my credit card also went through.
