Holy crap that's got to be a pricing error. Selling $449 from a quick Google elsewhere.
I have the 8" version PSW303 which sounds really decent for what it is. I'll bite the bullet and see if they honor this sale.

    • Damn, should have pulled trigger first then typed this.
      Ozbargaining 101 :-/

  • Reviews say you need a transformer as the circuitry is 110v

Seems like deal is gone now. I couldn't add it to cart.

  • Anyone got a recommendation for an alternative?

  • I was eyeing this for a long time but read in a bunch of places that it requires a transformer to convert from 110V to 240V and that this somehow affects the sound quality.

There seems to be a gap in the Australian market for "budget" subwoofers like this, or the Monoprice, etc. Everything I'm looking at for hooking up a TV costs around $800 for something decent. In the US you could get a reasonable unit for the $200 range.

I got order confirmation, so hopefully it's not a pricing error. I recently bought a Denon soundbar that was posted here and was actually looking for a cheap subwoofer last night. I watched a comparison review between 10in subwoofers and this one came on top along with ELAC. Save this subwoofer in my Amazon list and then saw a price decreased. Bought instantly
Now to find a reliable voltage transformer.

  • Received mine, came with an AU transformer and power cable.

    • I received mine last week. Mine is an EU (220-240 V) version so no need for a transformer.

      • Yeah, same as me, transformer was the wrong term.

    • Well done on snagging it in time. That's is a lot of decent sub for the price.
