  • managed to get it for $3200 with 3yr premium warranty and 3y accidental theft but cancelled it due to long shipping and got L5P 3070 which got delivered in a few days

    • How much did you pay for the L5P 3070 and can you list the specs? TIA

      • My guess is that their L5P 3070 was from a deal on Lenovo eBay or through the Lenovo Education Store, as those are the only recently listings where the L5P 3070 was shipped in around two business days.

    • Dayum. $3200 for the same specc'd Legion 7? Boy do I feel gypped.

    • When did you manage to get it down to $3200?

      • I too am interested

    • I think you mistyped $4200 and its creating lots of confusions lol

with lenovo Au history, this deal should come out on their general store in 10-14 days !

This is an amazing deal, I would totally buy this one if I wasn't waiting for my X17…

    • I was considering an M17 R4 outlet at this price. Not anymore!

      • if you have access to the .edu email, you might wanna try getting student discount code (20% + 7%) for x17. you can get one for approx 4k. IMO it looks much better and performance is prob better with undervolting + overclocking

  • Does this deal stack with cash rewards? Purchased a legion 7i with 3070 and 16gb ram for $3138 with 3 years premier servicing. Still hasn’t shipped, on the fence to cancel and get this? Any ideas?

Purchases made through Lenovo's student store, staff discounts, corporate deals, and negotiated offers (phone/email/chat) are ineligible for cashback.

but you should get this one if you don't mind waiting… prob 10~15% performance boost for few hundred dollars

      • Thank you. Also, my 13% cash back from cash rewards has tracked @ $407.94 from the normal Lenovo store for the purchase last week. Decisions, decisions.

I used shopback and it's tracked @ 213 from the Edu Store. But I doubt they will honour it.

maybe you should keep that one then haha the performance diff is only 10~15% apparently and you might need to wait 2 months

          • @HelloV10: That’s what I’m thinking. Thanks for that. Website notes shipping mid September so hopefully this is correct. Might message the rep and see if it’s still on time.

  • How do I get it for $3563? I only see it for $3959?

    • EDIT: my bad

Also does Lenovo do pricematch for existing orders?

  • $3306 if you opt for 16GB of ram - sell off and upgrade to even better 32GB.

    Also L5P 5800 3060 is $2042 with that code.

too expensive, this laptop shouldn't be more that $2100

  • PSA - look for dead pixels upon arrival. I'm waiting for replacement #3 for Legion 5 Pro..
