Western Digital Elements external hard disks
1TB = $178

This is at least $1 cheaper than best price on staticice and beats Officeworks easily

ATLEAST a whole $1 cheaper than the next cheapest and you claim this is a bargain???
This store is run by staffed by an extremely obnoxious little man who amongst other things:
They don't have a listed phone number and hardly reply to emails.
Heaven help you should your product develop a fault as IME they're less than helpful with returns - blaming the customer.
They sell a lot of generic rubbish products and deliberately seem to keep the fulls product details/specs off their website - which is an eyesore.
They do run a few cheap things to draw punters in but I'd never shop there again.
No online orders…..
Both MSY and IT Estate are significantly better - if not just on the price of this deal.
Sorry but I have to negative as I'm aware of many bad incidents through this vendor and have personally witnessed several myself.
Each to his own - there do seem to be polarised views. I generally find Fluidtek have stock when they advertise something, unlike many other competitors.
Agreed there is no online ordering capability, not a lot I can do about that.
All I know is that these are BRAND NAME WESTERN DIGITAL product with full warranty and you can pickup in store Thu-Tue (closed Wed).
IT Estate do not sell this product. This price is the cheapest I can find ANYWHERE full stop - including MSY.
I've been there.
Everything Nikko said it's true.
The guy is a total @ss.
One day I ask him about some price and he rudely told me to "check the website!"..
The shop is like chimney, and only 30cm wide passage among mountains of boxes ..
I rather pay more for at some other decent shops and some respect to customers.
still, if its the cheapest around, its still a bargain that u can use to get a price match out of someone else. so its not like it shouldnt be listed.
The guy that runs fluidtek needs to learn how to make a web page tho, that page is so newb its not funny. none of the links work, everything is just mishmashed around, it seems to me that if you are selling computer parts u should know how to write a semi decent web page
Thread closed and I am removing comments from both Nikko and jfdubos.
Does everyone have enough storage by now?
