LG100OFF

Yet another LG 27GP83B monitor deal, but this deal offers free delivery.

Here is a review at rtings and their verdict.

The LG 27GP83B-B is a great gaming monitor. It has low input lag, so you can respond instantly to the action on-screen, and it has an incredible response time, resulting in clear motion with little blur. It supports FreeSync variable refresh rate technology (VRR), but it's also certified by NVIDIA to work with their G-SYNC VRR format. It performs almost as well when gaming at 60Hz, making this a great choice for console gamers.

PROS

  • Very good reflection handling.
  • Incredible response time, even at 60Hz.
  • Low input lag.
  • Variable refresh rate support on AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards.

CONS

  • Blacks look gray in a dark room.
  • Limited ergonomics.

  • 27inch QHD IPS 165Hz 1ms RR - Ticks all the boxes but not sure if it's the best deal :/

Why this over s2721dgf at $400??

    • +1

I own a s2721dgf and the main reasons to go this over that is if you're a PS5/4 owner that needs the downscaling from 4k to 1440p or SRGB clamp for colour accurate work, in most cases the s2721dgf is a better bet

      • I'm currently using benq ex2780q because it supports downscaling and HDRi.

That's a pretty good shout too, currently $449 at Mwave

          • @nostalgiaultra: When I bought it 2 weeks before, it was around 430 without shipping at Mwave. Kogan sold at 430 with free shipping but it was sold out.

  • What panel?

  • That stand is a bit too tall looks like. Can it be adjusted/taken off completely?

    • VESA 100x100 stand. It is height adjustable and can be taken off if you want to wall mount it.

  • Very tempted on this, I've been loyal to Dell screens for more than a decade but really desperate for 144hz but need an SRGB clamp.
Any dell owners jumped ship for this? Whats the experience been like?
