  • 1440P Quad HD + 145° Field of View
The A400 records in QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440, delivering above par clarity and color-accurateness. 145° wide-angle FOV covers at least three lanes of traffic, capturing more events in each frame.

  • Dual-Channel Recording - 1440P Front & 1080P Rear
Compatible with the RC09 rear camera, the A400 can achieve dual-channel recording, providing all-around coverage for added security.

  • 24-Hour Parking Surveillance
Keep monitoring when you are away*. The built-in G-sensor can detect sudden shakes or collisions while your car is off, and will automatically start recording to capture any potential incidents. If an emergency video is recorded, you'll get a voice alert once the car powers back on.

  • Enhanced Night Vision
With WDR technology, the A400 automatically adjusts exposure balance when recording in low-light or high-contrast environments. F2.0 large aperture pulls in more light to brighten up dark scenes.

  • App Control
With built-in WiFi, the A400 connects to the 70mai App, so you can easily watch real-time footage, take pictures, and download files to your phone!

  • Loop Recording
No more worrying about "memory card full"! New recordings will automatically overwrite older footage when your storage reaches its limit.

  • 70mai Hardware Kit

Wow that's a really good price for dual cam

This is tempting, but is there any chance it will make it through summer without the battery swelling?

The question i'd like to have answered…

      Stories like this don't help.

Hello try to turn of screen after 30s kn the setting and also updet the last firmeware

        • +3

read that. Must be second level support… first level being "turn it off and on again"

      • I use my SJCAM M20 action camera as a dash cam sometimes and I've killed two batteries by leaving the camera on the windscreen on hot days. Based on that I would be very hesitant to buy a dedicated dash cam that used a battery rather than a capacitor.

I used the original 70mai dashcam for a few Summers with no issues. Upgraded to the 70mai Pro and has been fine so far after a Summer. Previously had a Mini 0801 for over 4 years and didn't have any battery issues either.

Have this model and heating issues with the battery are not a problem, but I do live in tassie

    • Run it with a VPN from Europe, that fixes everything

      • huh? are you referring to GST or the device itself?

You sound like you"re from the Tax office ?

  • edit: coupon only for new user i think

6845 comments and still doesn't know how to use a neg…

  • How's this compared to the the OzB favs Blueskysea?

    • I have a blueskysea, and it no longer talks to the app. The cam itself only works as i had it previously set up

    • +1

I had the other 70mai and it is still working after 3 years(now in partners car, as i've upgraded to A129 duo)

Had the bluesky B1W-C and it stopped working after 8 months, no longer turned on.

  • cheapest grey in stock is $70 inc 32GB SD card. and then there's 10% GST on top

  • cheapest i could get was red front and back with hardwire kit no memory card $78.70

  • China and Poland have stock but don't post to Aus.
Russia posts to Aus but no stock…

  • What is the function of the hardware kit?

    • +1

To record while engine is off.

  • I have a xiaomi cam. It doesn't save the recording automatically when you turn the engine off. I'd check reviews for this problem on this model

    • Would the hardware kit be the solution?

      • solution is probably to just remember to stop recording before turning engine off. but in the case of a crash and engine stopping, there won't be footage of it. really disappointing.

        • seems like expected behaviour if you don't have the hardwiring kit

          • @ywpn: Damn

          • @ywpn: Incorrect, the dash cams battery is meant to save the last file.

            • @adr8: Ah sorry I misunderstood. Yeah that sounds like a problem :(

    • Does the date also need resetting every start up? If so, it needs a new battery. Check if the battery is soldered or just clips in, if the latter it's an easy fix.

  • +2

Have a 70Mai Mini Dash. Image is really good. Software is ok. Biggest issue is it practically shouts "70Mai is started recording" even on "small" voice as soon as you turn on the car.

    • Put some black electrical tape over the speaker opening to shut it up.

  • +1

    is hardware kit worth it?

  • Is there a link to RC09 rear camera and the hardwire kit?

    • They're listed in the main link, select the option with 70mai A400 + Hardwire Kit + Rear Cam RC09.

  • Ended up buying with the hardware kit and sd card

What is a good value SD card to get for this? Any deals around at the moment on SD cards?

  • Why the f**k would they sell it in RED?

  • Thabks OP. Mine arrived yesterday. Had a quick play with it on my desk, so far really impressed with it. Keen to order another for 2nd car but sadly deals expired
