Hello everyone,
I bought this one today as part of the Afterpay day deal. Was looking to upgrade my webcam for a while
Really good for the price! Free express postage if you're with eBay Plus
Also it works with windows hello if you're into that!

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
My gf asked for one, will let you know once I find out what she uses it for.
Comment of the week.
Top Twitch/FB gaming streamers use mirrorless camera setups… and they can shoot way above 4K.
I just went to my Twitch desktop app and everyone is streaming in 1080p 60 fps even sodapoppin, asmongold and shroud and the rest of those 10k+ people streams.
There is a difference between streaming 1080p and filming 1080p. Downscaling from 4K helps with quality, especially for those who then post videos on youtube with edits.
IIRC, works with Mac OS, and is windows hello compatible.
Sure it's cheaper than elsewhere, but it's a bloody expensive webcam!!!
Maybe good for you're doing onlyfans?
I bought one of these in late June. Overkill for Teams etc to some extent, but the built in light does a great job and the microphone is much clearer than other webcams that I've owned. Overall, it works outstandingly well. However, the price is steep, so only made sense for me because I wanted it for work and could claim it as a tax deduction.
This is a great camera (I use it with my Surface Pro 6) but I've never been able to get the Windows Hello on this to work despite downloading every update and other software. Just a warning.
Just an FYI, mine wouldn't initially work either and I found other comments online. It's because Windows hello still tries to use your inbuilt camera. I went to Device Manager and right clicked on the Integrated Camera (under Camera) and disabled it and it then resulted in the Hello function working on the Brio.
Personally, I'm a bit disappointed in the Brio as the focus isn't great. But it does the job and I like the Windows Hello function. Plus my old Logitech C920 used to disconnect all the time where as the Brio almost never disconnects meaning that I'm rarely in the embarrassing position anymore of having to tell people on Teams that my camera stopped working.
Great product but it's not cheap. Have been it as low as around $200 when it's on sale.
The hook part is so long it blocks way too much screen.
For work related, you dont need clients or coworkers to see your pores clearly.
Great webcam, work provided one for me. One thing to consider, cable is USB-C to USC-A.
Mate, you're ugly enough in 720p.
Crazy price and overkill if it's for WFH… unless you are on Twitch!
I wanted a standalone webcam as I got sick of having my laptop open all the time, grabbed one of those $20 1080p cameras that pop up from either eBay or Amazon & it's been perfect for meetings or teams calls.
Link?
I just checked the seller I purchased from & they are no longer selling it so can't link to the item directly. It's just a no name. Identical to first one in the search here: https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p255388…
Cheers
When I was looking for a webcam for work, I had researched between this and the Logitech streamcam. For some odd reason, streamcam performs better colour and autofocus wise than the Brio. If you don't need the wider POV (why would you want to show your messy room), then I recommend the streamcam over the brio. You can watch some YouTube videos to see the difference.
hmm this could be just the thing for the raspberry pi conference unit im building for teams/zoom
who the hell streams 4k video.
