Iron, not ion.
Apologies, auto correction
Hi, thanks for your comments. This battery equipped JBD BMS that can handle high voltage to allow connecting in series.
Bit cheaper on ebay if you have the 5% off Plus voucher: $432.23
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/373644581517That's our eBay store too.
~400 seems to be the going price for eBay generic brand 100ah lifepo4 batteries. I was able to sweep one up for $320 on the eBay sales, which I thought was a good price. Still holding up well
Got a link by chance to the one you purchased? Tia
Can these batteries be wired in series? If so, until what voltage?
On the side of the battery it says “connect up to 4 identical batteries to a maximum of 48v” (or something close to that.)
That would be wired in series…
Thanks for that. It's not mentioned anywhere on the webpage…. hmmm
The last image in the gallery.
Depends on the bms
Yes, the BMS can handle high voltage that allows connecting in series.
Is this suitable for under bonnet installation?
I assume not, it will void the warranty:
16. RollingCart is not responsible for damage on the batteries to be used in starting applications or under the bonnetah good one thanks for that
Voltax 12v 100Ah lifepo4 on Amazon has for $422 delivered. Wonder how they compare?
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B089XT173G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_g…Voltax are actually decent low cost entry level LiPo4 batteries that look like they were tested to be true capacity by a few youtube reviews.
Can be had for well below $400 with ebay plus discounts, sometimes even around $300 a real bargain.
Looks like they went up to $469 on Amazon now.
As with many low cost LiPo4 batteries on ebay and eleswhere only 1 yr warranty, this one from OPhas 5 yrs , but not sure
how long this brand/company will be around for.

This one or Solarking? Solarking is $509 on Ebay at the moment with Afterpay 15% discount. The Afterpay discount may also apply to Kasan, but haven't confirmed as yet.
Nice lithium ion phosphate. Many cycles. I wonder if this brand is any good. The bus bars and connectors look okay, not sure about the bms
