      These Zip taps are actually pretty nifty but they're meant to be for places like high traffic offices, not average homes.

      They can do boiling water, chilled water & sparkling water on tap and comes with a complete filter and control unit.

    At this price it equals 2 years of subscription base service of ZIP water.

    Those who need this will likely prefer the subscription to write it off on their books. Domestic users that after one off purchase will likely go for retail products from Bunnings or JB….

    Hard to say is a deal or not but sure wrong product at the wrong place.

    I guess this is for bigger offices or other crowded spaces, where you don't want people to queue up for the tap, kettle, water distributor.

    No, just don't.
    My last 2 workplaces had Zip taps and they were continually breaking down. Happened so often I was on 1st name terms with their repair guy.

    Here was me feeling ripped off having to shell out $4 on a small fitting when my 3 way tap didn't come with the right connection!!! I think $7k RRP (even the $4.9k discounted price actually) is just out of reach for almost anyone in here. Good for a business though, work have 8 of these and they're absolutely amazing! especially considering how they keep up with the demand of people filling up a litre at a time quite frequently.

    If you're a business owner with a large-ish number of workers, highly recommend!

    I have seen Zip taps out of order in many different workplaces. Apparently very costly to repair. Given its purpose, I cannot see how such a high cost is justifiable.

    Anyways, cheaper here and at Hardly Normal with free installation

      Because it's cheaper elsewhere, and I'm not convinced about the cost savings justifying the price tag (though I'm prepared to be corrected on the latter by someone who's done the math).
