    Who da cashback wit mate?

    • I'm assuming it's a Shopback flash sale, but I could be wrong.

  • +3

Why could it not be yesterday to stack with 8000 points on $80 order.

  • 2000 Bonus FLYBUYS points when you spend $50

    Where'd you see that?

    • It's in the email from Shopback

      • I don't believe that's correct, FCL only ever show their bonus points promos here which isn't showing anything currently. I believe it's $20 off $200 spend instead.

        • There’s two different promotions.
I received an email from ShopBack as per OP plus a different email from first choice re $20 off $200, which is listed in promo codes in ShopBack therefore stackable.

          • @bg: If there was a points promotion you would have received an email about it or see it on that linked page (none of either have happened). The email sent was at 10am for $20 off $200 spend.

SB has it wrong, always only ever rely on FCL directly for these offers. FCL pretty much never stack deals that are $ off and points, they're mutually exclusive (decided well in advance).

            • @doweyy: SB definitely got it wrong. No points email from FCL

    • Hey, thanks for flagging this with us.
This was indeed an error, we apologize for any confusion here.

The current/active promotion is the $20 off $200 spends, Code: TWENTYOFF.

Just replying here to increase the visibility of my comment.
Please feel free to DM me if you have any other questions/concerns.

      Cheers,
      GYB

  • The deal that is showing is Get $20 off when you Spend $200! Code: TWENTYOFF

Unlikely for them to have that AND the bonus flybuys points

    • Yep, they rarely stack their promo's.

  • +10

Remember: DON’T BASE YOUR PURCHASING DECISIONS PURELY ON POTENTIAL CASHBACK.

    • +4

And use the phone app to increase your chances of it working.

      • And via cellular data in case of local network ad-blocking

    • "But I saved $6 by spending $30!"

    • No you have to. Otherwise nobody would be buying

      • Yeah until the cashback is denied/not tracked then they have a rant in the forums about how they wouldn’t have bought if no cashback lmfao

  • Are the FlyBuys points available to those who aren't a Shopback member?

    • Not sure, generally Flybuys offer is put up on the First Choice site itself but not this time. The email I have from ShopBack shows the offer for the points.

      • +1

I would trust the First Choice website more than Shopback (which has shown to be prone to errors a few times)

  • I just received this
We've got your drinks covered with $20 off online when you spend $200. TWENTYOFF
I wonder if you could use both discounts

    • So is that a definite NO for the flybuys when you spend $50 online?

      • I got an email saying there is

  • Can I use a referral link?

    • nvm, I was only interested in the 2000 Flybuys for $50 spend.

    • This is the link to the email I received
      https://www.firstchoiceliquor.com.au/specials/20-off-200?cid…

      • Against better judgement, I clicked a link without knowing the source. PC hasn't shut down yet, HAL isn't talking to me - but also, I ended up at a blank page.

        • Sorry the email link didn’t show properly, so I changed it to the actual discount page

        • Try this one

          https://www.firstchoiceliquor.com.au/specials/20-off-200

That other one had tracking info.

          • @M00Cow: Tracking and the web go hand in hand, I still didn't see any FlyBuys points on offer though.

            • @ozchappy: That's because there isn't any FB offers.
The link they/i posted is for the Spend $200 get $20 off.

You said you ended up at the blank page, which might be because of the tracking parameters in the posted URL, so i removed them for you.. you're welcome ;-)

I asked the local store manager who said " Not that Flybuys ever tells us, but we usually don't have concurrent $x's off and bonus Flybuys online." He said the spend $50 & get 2000 FB finished on Sunday a week ago. Some people had spend $80 in store for 2 weeks in a row and get $40 off your next shop. But one was online & the other was instore.

          • @M00Cow: Lol. That's not flybuys points. It's $20 off $200 spend.

  • 2000 points for $50 I'd spend anyway is a deal for me. But I won't go through hoops spending hundreds and signing up for new sites JUST to get it

  • I don't see the up-sized cashback anywhere.
    What am I missing?

    • +1

      I think the description:
      4pm - 8pm AEST

  • -2

Nah too unlikely to track without following up at least twice.
It's very time consuming with Shopback.

  • +1

I got this email too from shopback. It's says:

"Flash Sale 4PM to 8PM AEST

Collect 2000 bonus flybuys points when you spend $50

    +20% cashback ($20 cap)"

  • Ozbargain class action for our points.

  • this has expired any update?
    REFERRAL LINKS
    Referral:
Until 5 August 2021, $25 each for referrer and referee after first confirmed cashback (excludes other new customer bonus offers) and adding banking details.

    • +1

      I've updated it now.

  • +2

Shopback has this wrong. There is no 2000 points deal. Only the spend $200 get $20 off today…if there was 2000 points on offer as well, it would show at the very top of the FCL website, and there isn't….nor does it show anything on Shopback website when you look at FCL….only the $20 off deal (I know the 20% off starts at 4pm)

    • +1

Yeah makes it pretty useless to try and stack the $20 off with the increased cashback. For one you have to spend over $200 and the other is maxxed out @ $100 spend

  • +2

unless FirstChoice updates the points offer at 4pm which I doubt given the state of their website and IT capability, I suppose Shopback confused this with Liquorland's 2000 points for $50. It's possible that they see both LL and FC as same/similar merchant codes etc…

    • given the state of their website and IT capability,

Yes the POS at our local is apparently running windows 7… One of the staff joked that it's so the Ransomware kiddies think "…hmmm this is a trap" and leave them alone.

  • anyone know how to get the referral code off cashback to enter on here, the instructions on here don't work for me
    "2 Methods:

Open the ShopBack app to obtain your referral code. Manually type in the Referral Code you see on screen in the app (6 characters).
Open the Referral Page on Shopback's site(shopback.com.au) and click the https://app.shopback.com/ link which will unshorten to https://www.shopback.com.au/signup-referred?raf=[CODE]. Copy the CODE in the final URL.
Do not use the code on the app.shopback.com URL as that code changes and is not your actual referral code."

No Bonus pts offer? That sucks :(

Would be great if you could extend this 20% cashback offer to Liquorland to make up for this error.

  • Do you get 20% off with cash rewards or not because your web site is saying that you do. Free Delivery on Wine & Spirit Orders Over $150. 20.00% Upsized Cashback Was Up to 3.00% Cashback
I bought from this link, so I sure hope that you do.

Balter Hazy IPA is currently $60 for a (16 can) carton down from $73. Add a further 20% cashback and you've got a solid deal on a great beer.

    • I’m thinking this is per account or can u do multiple transactions ?

    • Bugger. I bought those 2 days ago.

  • Mojitos this weekend baby.

  • What happened to the flybuys bonus points?

    • It was an error

      • Don't stress, FC literally have 30% CB every month.

  • I've noticed 20% shopback is back for Liquorland.

Does anyone know why some products 'arent available' to add to cart?
(ie. 2 for $96 beers)? Thought could be stock but have tried a lot of different stores. I reckon they have blocked some product's but remembered this thing before.

Besides the shop back it's cheaper just getting one slab at Dan Murphys

    Thanks!
