price match with JB or Officeworks if you can, don't give money to Gerry
^^ this!!!
He's still around?
Had bought one from this deal. Arriving today.
How is it?
Still a better buy then iPad m1 pro lol
Purchased with 1x$1,000, 1x$250, 1x$100 gift cards at 7% discount with Shopback promotion (now showing $94.70 pending so net cost in my case is $1,254.30).
Up to 4 gift cards seem to be stackable with HN. I have no idea how long it will take to get cash back but probably a month. I also had to pay the delivery cost as no stores near me C&C so around $1,260 in reality.
I think others have been able to obtain it using the education store and discounts for around $1,230 - good if you can do it but maybe purchasing it this way offers peace of mind if you are not a student or union member.
My experience with SB gift card cash backs (eBay, swap, Amazon, kogan), trackable within a day, redeemable in a week.
Thanks Juzzo. Did the same. Was going to pay it off and haven’t used their interest free for years. They now charge an $8.95pm fee!
I still use my 2012 MBA which still does the job for checking Ozbargain etc
Wonder if I’ll notice much of a difference 😜
Do not buy from this place
Why
Just the most recent reason is that Gerry took a sh$&t load of our taxes in job keeper then came out with record profits and refused to give it back. There’s many other reasons others could give to.
Agreed
He also introduced the Gerry Harvey tax on items purchased from overseas. He's also mates with Ray Hadley so that's enough to boycott him
Upvote on this deal purely to go and pricematch somewhere else.
Bring back the Intel discounts…pleeaassee :)
Waiting to see if Apple comes up with something next month. I mean this is a great device and great price but I just can’t stand a 13” screen
Unlikely to see a MacBook Air replacement this year.
I hate the gloss so an external 4k monitor should work ok?
14" and 16" MacBook Pros are likely coming late this year but they'll cost a lot more. The current M1 MacBook Air is great value for money, and that's unlikely to change for a while.
I know, but I want to see how much more expensive it will be before I decide to get an m1 or m1x. Should be another 2 months wait so not too long
Is the best way to get an M1 Air for cheap through this link (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/641911) + 4% Cashback from Shopback? Nets to around $1242.
Any chance Harvey Norman would price match the above then I use = 7% cashback from Shopback?
Just price beat with OW for $1282 for delivery for my dad. His old (2014?) i5, 4GB RAM MBA needs to be replaced!
This deal is going to move all stock at OW!
Same price at OW $1349
Pls add 7% gift card from shop back to get additional 7% off
