    Okay can't post Amazon link.

For those without Good Guys COmmercial, on Amazon for $155.90 with free delivery. So kinda cheaper anyway.

EDIT: Ignore, that price is the AX20.

    • +3

      It's not. It's $249 on Amazon.

The router for $155.90 on Amazon is the Archer AX20. A lower model.

Yep saw that, I edited my comment correcting myself already.

  • These any good?

  • OK, signed up through TGG Commercial through SunSuper. Says 3-4 business days. I hope the deal stays until then.

  • Tempting but only my phone would benefit from wifi6 at the moment.

  • Does anyone know how this compares to the Xiaomi AX6000??

    • The Xiaomi AX6000 is 4x4 on the 5Ghz channel, so will do better with multiple clients streaming content at the same time in a busy household.

      • Thank you so much

    • Also got my eye on this one.

    • the tp link has english instruction and doesn’t need the phone app ….. i have the xiaomi one i got took some fiddling to work without the phone app ….. guess it depends if you get AU stock or chinese stock ….

  • Worth upgrading my TP LINK VR600?

    • I got a vr600v2. Been having issues with my nbn FTTC, the ISP reckons it's a fault inside the premise, likely the router. Just needed an excuse to upgrade my 3yo router to one with wifi 6 and MU-MIMO. I believe I paid the same for my vr600 so couldn't resist this deal so ended up buying it. If you like I can update you on if I think it's worth the upgrade for someone who uses it for 4k streaming and multiple smart devices but no gaming.

      • Thank you.
I did in the meantime jump on the Deco X68 sale. I’m obtaining speeds of 350-400 on the main router and up to 600 on the second which is strange.
Please let me know how your router goes as I’ll need to also upgrade my parents router

    Great idea, terrible device
Bought a TP Link AX3000 and had problems straight away. Couldn't get the wireless speed working past 20mbps.
Tried for hours to do different workarounds from threads online and it turns out it's just a dud product. There's a reason no one else has posted reviews.
I work in IT and I've never come across such a piece of junk.

Note: It's fine if you do a wired connection, but that kind of defeats the point in having the wireless feature.

Do yourself a favour and get the Netgear AC1750 instead. You won't regret it.

Interference? Channel congestion? Anyone got one irl for feedback against this 1-star?

    • I've had the AX3000 for about 6 months and it has not been great. We are in a small house and wifi strength in bedrooms probably 15 meters from router was weak and dropped out every now and then.

This router also gets really hot, I've had it on a laptop cooling pad and others online report this as an issue as well. Have had trouble with ping stability for gaming which has been very frustrating.

Just upgraded to a tri band Ax6600 (twice the price of this deal) and getting good coverage throughout the house now with huge improvement in speeds far away from the router.

  • How does it compare to ax20? I ordered it 3 weeks ago from TGGC for $134. Sick of waiting.
Should i cancel my order and get ax50 for pretty much the same money?

    • Capability of near double the speed

      • Thats on paper. But is it actually better? Ratings are lower.

  • I need one but no way of getting commercial

  • Damn I don't have a commercial account.

I'm still rocking an old Billion 8700VAXL which just won't die, and it's been incredibly reliable (6-12months uptime before I reboot it - running it off a UPS probably helps!). Only problem is that it only supports 16 2.4G connections and 16 5G connections… and I've hit that limit :( I need something stable that can handle loads more connections than that!

OH! I figured you actually had to have a proper super account with them… oops.

        • I believe you can signup for a Super account but not put any funds in it or something. It ends up being free.

          • @camelthief: Done and done! Signed up with Sunsuper, applied for the Good Guys commercial access… and already had my account set up this morning. That was quick!!

I noticed lots of TpLink devices (but not router) having lot of issue with Big Sur, and some of them still unsupported after more than a year. So I personally think their long term support is questionable…

  • Not sure it would qualify for the promotion as when I've order in the past my invoice has my details as well as GDAY REWARDS DISCOVERY PARKS and also mentions it's a commercial sale.

Promotion is open to Australian residents only (end user customers) who purchase for their personal use. Purchases for and in the name of trusts, companies, businesses, commercial or residential developers/developments and purchases by builders, subcontractors, installers, and resellers are not eligible.

  • This is a great price if you can get it. I needed a new router and got this for $227 from Office works using price match just over a week ago. It had frequent drop outs initially, using Teams calls on my phone, but their tech support got me to change the wi-fi channel and frequency (the default was set to auto) and it seems to have fixed the issue. The app is quite good and the intrusion protection seems to work too if you stumble across a dodgy website.

FYI TGG to called to say this is a on back-order with a queue time of 2-4 weeks.

  • TGG have called me to advise that TP-Link will not be able to fulfill any more orders of the AX50 and they will instead send me an AX73 with no price difference. Epic.

    • +1

Same here, so glad I placed the order for the AX50, Thanks OP!

    • +2

Same here, mate! Good on TP-Link for acting on this and not waiting for us to arc up.

But damn, I'll take an AX73 over the AX50 for the same price all day any day.

  • I guess I'm the only unlucky one :(

I was also told that there's no ETA, and that I could upgrade to the AX73 but not for free. They are willing to give me a $7 discount on the AX73 ($205 instead of $212).
