  Obligatory Pyrex PSA warning! Check the labels for the correct ones to buy. The company was bought out and changed the formula to Soda-Lime Glass which explodes with rapid temp changes.

    Well, this set is the soda lime glass unfortunately. The borosillicate glass is also on discount not a great mark down.

      Interesting that despite this being the new glass the advertising specifically says:

      “ From preparation to oven, oven to fridge or freezer - these dishes are so versatile.”

      This certainly suggests they are resistant to thermal cracking.

        I dare you to even take it out of the oven and put it in the fridge. Versatile, which means, you can use them in the fridge, oven, freezer, etc., not straight from one to the other. Even with PYREX can't do that, but PYREX is more forgiving with sudden temperature changes.

    Their glass chips too on the lip. I wouldn’t even put these in a dishwasher.
