Has been checking the website for the machine for quite a while, it suddenly shows up after 6:00pm, perfect timing!
Just got mine by calling the hotline (waited for 20+mins) as I couldn't get it delivered or C&C online anywhere in SA.
Seems the stock is very limited

I didn't get it with the Smart Grinder Pro. But I sent my bonus claim anyway, got an approval email this morning.

thinking about it… the dual boiler is around 1k, the smart grinder is around 300 but the dynamic duo is 1.5?? makes more sense for them to bundle LOL

After buying a barista express and then using a commercial wega at office, I realised the value of OPV. I definitely miss that in my express. Also 57mm. Also I dont understand why people say thicker puck = less channeling. unfortunately thicker puck need more pressure = more channeling. OPV solves half the channeling issues.
It looks like there is an OPV in Barista Express. But it is adjusted to 14-15 bar while most people believe 9 bar is "the standard".
Thanks OP for the post as I managed to pick one up very early this morning (pick up store is about an hr away from my home but worth it as the item couldn’t be delivered).
For those that have this machine, how tall is it? I noticed that different websites (ie good guys, Myer, Harvey Norman and breville itself) all have different dimensions posted with a difference of about 10cm.

For all those that purchased this machine and the smart grinder pro, breville have a promotion for the dymanic duo (this machine and the smart grider pro are the same components) so i registered to see if i could claim the bonus. I got an email saying i was approved for the promotion. Its worth $400 and comes with a breville coffee cannister (black colour only), 2 bondum dual walled glasses, a master class voucher (that shows you how to use the machine) and a 3 month supply of coffee (12 packets which i received 4 initially and the promo says i will get another 4 in 4 weeks and another 4 in 8 weeks time.
I got mine from the good guys, which is on the list of approved sellers.
There are some other machines that also qualify and other bonuses for lower models.
