    ACCC really needs to bring in some standard definition of what constitutes “refurbished”. To me it means at the very least a new battery.

      Exactly! I expect "refurbished" to mean a new tablet was sent back to a manufacturer for a fault on purchase and the manufacturer has since ​fixed it.

      This definition sounds like some squeezer has just checked it turns on then wiped it over with a sanitising wipe. Call a spade a spade… It's a used tablet.
