Excellent deal, unfortunately I think you have to be with one of the three big telcos to use the same number as your phone.

    • I went all the way through to entering my credit card number. It was $779 and I dont have Telstra moble account neither home phone, I entered my login details from 10 years ago when I did have a home phone with them!

He's talking about using the 4G

Very good price and good battery life. I was going to get this watch then i tried it on. It is huge, not just in diameter but very thick, like a diving watch. Went for the watch6 classic.

    • Where did you get the Watch 6 Classic from and for how much? I was thinking of updating my Watch Classic 4 .

      • Got the international version from catch. It may not have access to a few of the health features but for $275 for the 47mm version, it is a deal I can refuse.

I recommend anyone looking to buy this watch, first try it on your wrist. Its too large and thick and looks kind of very bulky with its design. Try it in a store before buying

    • does the apple watch ultra 1 and 2 also feel as bulky?

      • No. I am currently using Apple Watch Ultra, which looks relatively smaller than Samsung Watch Ultra.

Still too expensive, the only difference between watch 7 ultra and watch7 is design and battery size.

    Not worth more than $499

    • It has 1,000 more nits brightness too, which is important in Australia

      • Your username, where do you get sun from Mar to Oct in melbourne 😭

    • is Samsung Galaxy watch 7 worth getting or wait for the newer model?

      • i think galaxy watch 7 design is outdated, its been same since watch 4. They might change it with galaxy 8 i guess. but if you can get cheaper deal, buy it and trade in when 8 is out.

        • i think galaxy watch 7 design is outdated, its been same since watch 4

I think the only significant design change would be to make it more square like Apple's
which would be more use for reading text messages etc…

they copied apple watch ultra design for Samsung ultra (square shape body) but kept the circle display which made the square design unnecessary/pointless (made it more bulky) ..

I think eventually they probably gonna make a square display since they have been copying Apple design and methods of operation lately..

They might change it with galaxy 8 i guess. but if you can get cheaper deal, buy it and trade in when 8 is out.

I can probably get the watch 7 for approx $246 with a s25 ultra bundle..

Would you buy it for that price $246 and then trade in for watch 8 (for about $50 to $60 trade in value - this is the price they are giving for the watch 6 Bluetooth) which will likely be release July 2025 for the watch 8..

Also another issue is the Galaxy watch 8 likely to be expensive upon released unless we wait for next year S26 ultra bundle (which would drop the price with accessory voucher bonus e.g. $200 or $100 off etc) before we do the trade in

I got my Watch 5 pro a couple of years ago.. yeah.. nah.. to this Ultra.

    • +1, got watch 5 pro LTE couple of years back from FB market place $199. will wait for couple more years before i upgrade

    • 100% agree. Imho I reckon wait for the next generation later this year.

  • Love the originality on this one.

The word ultra and the orange band.

  • does anyone know if JB or OW will price match?

    • +1

JB said they won't match as the deal requires an active service in order to get it at that price

      • +1

you can have a Telstra ID without any service with them; it's just an email registration, and they allocate ID immediately

        • The question was about whether JB price matched or not and that was the response I got
