This will also enable you to use a foxtel now box without foxtel now subscribtion.

    • How do we do that? Now that my free telstra 1 month subscription is over and I am left with free Foxtel box (from the last deal), all my content shows its locked. Are you saying I can use Foxtel on the Foxtel box? How?

You need an active foxtel sub.

      • I did not like this box at all.

      • If you have foxtel multiroom, you can login to a foxtel now box with that user name and password. Ie the same one you use for foxtel go. It works

      • Yes, you need a standard subscription 1st. Only users with multiroom are able to login with a normal sub on a foxtel now box.

    • Don't know why people are down voting. Multiroom enables you to login with your standard foxtel go details. Pretty handy if you have the foxtel now box

      • I use the foxtel now box to make my 'not so smart' plasma 'smart' without multiroom

        Youtube /netflix / casting works a treat

Got it free - so will use until plasma dies

Getting some downvotes though. I’d be angry too paying that much for what amounts to the AFL and NRL coverage (aside from the free to air stuff) and footy shows filled with former players.
STAN took the rugby. Optus the EPL. The rest of the offering is garbage you can get elsewhere.

It does seem cheaper these days at $64/month? Still outrageous though.

But what about judge Judy! You can't forgot about double episodes of judge Judy every night ;)

        • 100% mate. Only boomers or tech illiterates who don't know any better use it really lol

I've no idea why you were down voted.

Tried their subscription before and found there was actually nothing to watch for me so I immediately unsubscribed. And you guess what, I was charged for a FREE trial. And most importantly, I was charged but there was no invoice, not receipt, in other words, nothing could tell it was really Foxtel charged my account by mistake rather than someone else using my credit card info subscribed.

I was freaked out and was just about to contact my bank, so I tried to contact Foxtel and it turned out really Foxtel charged me for NOT unsubscribing before their billing date which was obviously BEFORE I subscribed.

Lol so on demand and 70 live channels including 6 music, 7 kids, how ever many movies and drama and you could find nothing to watch, I think that speaks more of you then foxtel LOL…

        • Ads. You pay $65 a month and get ads. That’s mental. 70 channels of garbage. Music tv? Pass.
I’ve spent many an evening in a hotel on work trips failing to find anything to watch. Usually end up on some terrible reality tv show like Klondike Gold or Dangerous Trucking Jobs or Dangerous Fishing.

The only argument for Foxtel is that you’re a die hard AFL/NRL fan and need to see every game your team plays and listen to ex players with inflated egos talk about the good old days. Bring back the biff?

          • @LuckyDrew: Well we'll have to admit the fact that some people are just unable to understand why others don't like what they like so much.

            • @[Deactivated]: I’m happy to see things from other people’s perspectives. Just not here when Foxtel is clearly terrible.

              • @LuckyDrew: Yep, that's the point. Clearly enough neither of us are Foxtel's audience which is unfortunately clearly unimaginable to some Foxtel fans.

          • @LuckyDrew: Agree with the ads, annoying, now I can rewind and fast forward its ok but frustrating. But the music channels are good for the weekend and sports, if netflix or Amazon was to take sports on, foxtel may be in trouble but until then its the $99 a month I guess and ads..

  • It's this actually working for anyone?

    Possibly targeted?

I expect all 7 Foxtel subscribers will be ecstatic about this deal.

    • Can confirm as one of the 7 payers of foxtel content, im excited as!

  • My folks have a traditional cable Foxtel sub (thru Telstra). Does this allow us to stream via Foxtel Now app rather than just Foxtel Go?

    • If they have a Foxtel sub through cable they have access to Foxtel Go

    • Yes, I was able to login to foxtel now on my Samsung TV with my parents foxtel subscription. They have multiroom.

  • Apparently only for nsw and Vic?

    • How do you know?
