  • 10% off your grocery shop every month. How does this work? Does this automatically apply with my everyday rewards card on each purchase?

    • +1

1 shop per month. You get prompted whether you want to use it instore. Or else you apply a code to online shopping.

    • +4

Starts 60 days after activation also.

      • My discount started 3 weeks after signing up so YMMV. I activated on a 365 day plan.

      • Stated 45 days after. Mine came sooner

        • Can confirm mine did too

          • @minniethemoocher: I have 2 accounts on different everyday rewards. 1 signed up 2 weeks ago and this months discount it is available from today until the end of August.

  • Good timing. Catch connect plan ends in 7 days. Does anyone know if the 10% Woolworths discount also stacks with the 10% for Woolworths insurance customers? Or is it once only?

    • do you have a friend or partner with a second card?

    • +1

I’ve got 3 x 10% discounts over 3 x EDR cards (2 for mobile plans, 1 for insurance). Allows me to get 10% off for up to 3 spends a month (but not stacked in 1 transaction).
Edit: bought a cherry ripe in store yesterday and the operator asked if I wanted to use my 10% discount or save it for a bigger shop this month. Damn straight I want to use it on my cherry ripe, son!

    • it wont stack if you mean can you get 2x10% per month. From the T&Cs "you will only be able to redeem the discount once per month, even if you have multiple Woolworths Mobile services under your name or a Woolworths Insurance or Woolworths Credit Card product."

You need to run 2 rewards cards to get the 10% discount twice a month (just link insurance to one card and mobile to another card, swipe a different card each time). Yes you split your rewards points but the discount significantly outweighs the benefits of the points

      • I think the 10% off is alright but over rated . There seems to be always a 15-20% range off offer from one of the big 2 .

        • Depends on your weekly spend. We easily spend $150/week so one shop would pay off the mobile cost.
Note that you can actually get 2 X 10%, once online and once in store. Can't be bothered about using a different membership as we'll probably cancel insurance and go with RACV which is cheaper.

          • @0 0 0: This happened to me! Have you been getting 1 x in-store and 1 x online every month?

            • @hen dawg: Yep. A limitation of their systems. Haven't shopped big in store for a while given COVID.

              • @0 0 0: Awesome! With both myself and wife on this plan that's up to 4x 10% offs every month. Plus stack with 4%off gift cards

        • You get 10% off your final grocery bill. So if you stock up with things on special and you still then get 10% off the total.

Sure you might save by buying different things from different supermarkets if you are organised and willing to shop in 2 or 3 places

  • So if I've already activated the previous $40 sim starter and get this deal too, I'll need to port out and port in to use it, is that right? (ie. I cant just transfer directly to this new plan because its a new starter kit?)

    • +1

Confirmed. Tried to upgrade at activation - had to pay $110 not $100.

  • I quite still enjoy my boost 150$ 60gb plan. should i move out to this? i wonder how their network speeds are compared to boost?

    • You would lose VoLTE, VoWifi, and access to the full Telstra network by moving away from Boost.

I can't comment on speeds but just something to consider—I think HD calling is important, and I like to surf in 4G while on a phone call.

      • hd calling is amazing. it boosts my terrible audio mic quality that my pixel 3 kept producing =D

I am on this plan already and will expire in Sep, can I buy this and recharge my existing plan?

    • +2

me: can I recharge using the additional starter pack I have just purchased? Or will I need to ask for a refund?

live chat: You would need to request a refund as we do not have an option to recharge with a starter pack.

      🤦‍♂️

Thanks. Sounds like you need an intermediate SIM.

      • Thanks for confirming.

    Does anyone know - the cashback for these used to be $20 via shopback/cash rewards but now it has conflicting info;

    180 & 365 Day Long Expiry Plan $20.00
    Prepaid 180-Day $65 Plan $3.50

Anyone able to clarify if it's now only the $3.50? As the $65 is the only 180 day plan…

Also note for cashback to track service needs to be activated in 30 days - it's woolies who give you 180 days to activate sim.

  • No international calls. Probably still gonna go with Coles mobile deal.

  • Confused about shopback/cashrewards $20 cashback. How do you do that? Not seeing it on their apps (may be me being blind)

  • Damn just renewed my two 365 day plans last week.
Great offer overall though. Recommend Woolies plans

  • Not sure if you can even get the cashback if you've already signed up for a previous woolworths mobile account using the same number?

  • Any know how long the delivery for this is?;

and can you pay for this with a woolworths gift card?

    • +1

2 weeks delivery and no e-gift card payment option.

  • This deal is back: "Save $10 on $150 Starter Pack only. Offer ends 14 Sep 2021".

    • Dont do it! Had to get a refund after they declined at least 2 credit and 2 debit cards of mine when I tried to activate. Told me that I'd tried too many times (despite the site saying to try again) and I had to wait 30 days to try again. Lodged a TIO complaint and Product Review feedback.
