This is a great image OP. I will be sure to send my child running around the neighborhood with an ak-m replica!

    • Argh scary orange plastic toy guns!

I'd love gel blasters for the kids and me to play with but sadly we live in NSW.

      • it's becoming a scary expensive hobby. gas-powered ones are all the rage and some pistols can cost $400+

  • +2

Be aware that in NSW these are considered ammunition and you need a firearms license and have to store these in an approved locked container…Totally ridiculous.

    • Added a mod note.

      • Mods negging deals and preventing community members from cancelling the neg, nice.

        • My bad, must have accidently pressed it on the phone.

      • Hi Mod,

Do you mind edit to make the message clear?

This is not a gel blaster item.
Buyer don't need any licence to purchase gel ball..

        • Your argument doesn't hold up when you have the following Amazon Product Title:

40,000pc x 4 Bottles Shrapgel Random Hardened Water Gel Balls 7-8mm Ball Ammo Bead Blaster Toy Outdoor Game Bullet Gelball

          • @RichardL: I meant to say this is not a gel blaster, it can be used for gel blaster ammo bullet..

But that's ok, wouldn't mind to remind people follow local laws. Thanks

Nanny state, I remember as a kid having cap guns etc, don't think I've seen them around anymore

      • +1

cap guns don't fire at 250fps and on full auto at some kids face….guess people just can't be trusted to use them properly hey.

        • +3

It's why we cannot have nice things.

      • In WA, there were 147 police call outs to gel blaster-related incidents last year including a siege at an Applecross pharmacy.

Stupid people are the reason they got banned.

      • Yeah, and no one is getting their fingers blown off with fireworks anymore either!

If purchase a gel blaster, yes, check your local law.

      But these are gel balls..
Also can be used for decoration, garden, etc..

So there isn't any restriction on these products.

As the website is primarily for the sale of gel blasters I find it disingenuous to talk about how a specific related product currently on sale may have other uses. Complete customer satisfaction doesn't mean they should have to find out the hard way that they bought 40,000 ammo for a future gel blaster purchase, unaware of the restrictions.

Laws and rules regarding gel blasters have in the past two years undergone quite dramatic changes, so it is clearly the case that someone might not be aware of the recent changes. It seems deceptive to be selling this kind of product without providing clear guidance for your potential customers. They can go to https://gelblasterclub.com.au/are-gel-blasters-legal-in-aust… which seems to be a pretty reliable and up-to-date resource.

I have m-16s as garden fencing. I needed to add silencers to get the required length. I emailed John Howard to ask if he approved but he hasn't reply back yet.

Gel balls in this form are loosely the same thing that are in huggies nappies. Maybe someone wants to make their own or have a gel pool party.

And yet the NSW government have classified these these little squishy balls my 5yo plays with as ammunition and require firearms licence and locked storage to possess. Thank God this well thought out legislation is keeping us safe!

gel balls don't hurt people, people hurt people….

        • hate when i get shot in the gel balls

Child: Mum I want to go shopping at kmart.
Mum: We have kmart at home!
    At home: Kmest.

      That was actually terrible

        Terribly good!

  • 40k Bottles X4

Is this deal for 160k pieces?

    Product description says

Pack of 4 Bottles- 20,000 Pc

  • Add 2-3 drops of dishwashing liquid to the bottle (it helps lube the balls for best results)

Not the best advice. Dishwashing detergent will wear away necessary oils in the 'water blaster'. I use a ph neutral car wash like meguire's or mother's gold class.
