I got this exact set from Spotlight for around $28 a few months ago. I dont know why but for some reason there are rust spots already appearing on some of the knives.
These sets are routinely on sale at Harris Scarfe efc. They are not the sharpest of knives but you get what you pay for. I had one set that has 8 steak knives, scissors, 8 other knives for a similar price. But the knives are blunt so I got another good knife and only use the steak knives now and only use the set of knives as spares.
I'm not surprised they have rust spots.
I would imagine it would be impossible to buy a decent quality 15 piece stainless steel knife set (with a block) for less than $30.
Absolutely agree with cacbm on being completely upfront with the (hidden) costs. This site is not an advertising board for merchants who cannot be upfront about their bargains.

Why would anyone buy a k-mart quality knife and whacked with postage and credit card fee when
anyone just could go to, well, k-mart, and pay by creditcard without a fee and get fuel discount and flybuys point..

No mention of the $8 postage fee and the 1.5% credit card surcharge fee is asking for negative votes on this site.
Also, if the one and only way to pay is by credit card, why don't you increase the price of your products by 1.5% instead of trying to deceive people and create a false impression that the products are cheaper.
We don't care about the cost associate with the bank. You wouldn't ask us to pay for your web hosting or electricity would you? We only care about how much in total we have to pay. If another choice of payment is provided I won't have a problem with it (eg. Qantas has credit card and direct debit options).
