Just noticed this too. Was about to post.

7.5% is pretty good for toys.

    • There more toys on Camel lows now than on Prime Day .

Shame… I was going to get a couple of free ones today.

      • if they were any cheaper, u might have to give the cash back!

Your 0% cashback comment is more useful than the post :)

    • +1

Same, and that's if it processes at all. Yet they sent out shopback rate from todays shopping session 0.00 - why bother?

      • +1

        agreed

      Hey mate.
Just wanted to add that Amazon are the ones who set their category rates every month, we pass on those rates as cashback.
We don't have control on what pays 0% or otherwise.
      Cheers!

      • +2

Thanks for the clarification. What is their reasoning behind not offering cashback on certain categories anymore?

        • We can only speculate that they want to drive orders to specific categories at certain times of the year.
Something that pays 6% this month, may not next month.
It'll depend on their strategy :)

          • +2

@gotyourback: Can you ask them to make it more clear which category items belong to? Its not very easy to figure out sometimes…

            • +2

              @ATangk: @ATangk We already have :)
Not sure if anything will come from the request (it's highly unlikely in all honesty), but we can only hope so.

        • +2

Whatever they do, it's all aimed at profit. If you understand that it all makes sense.

Are items sold by Amazon US but purchased from amazon.com.au eligible?

    • +3

      Yes they are :)

  • Awesome. Hope I get lucky and get paid my cashback.

  • R electric scooters 10% off?

  • can anyone comment on the likelihood of getting the transactions tracked?

my 2 days run since 1/07 have been 100% with cashrewards with the 6% cashback on Toys. 10 out of 10 transactions.

    • +1

My recent Amazon transactions (on Prime Day) through SB all tracked just fine. I used the app.

  • What does it end? 11.59pm tonight? Is there anything good worth buying? Nothing’s jumping out at me from glancing through some of those categories on amazon

    • I’d like to know if it’s 11.59pm tonight or tomorrow also

      • As I said in the post and what shows for the expiry of the deal - expires tomorrow, July 4. ShopBack says expires July 4 and expires in 2 days. @OzBoganYeah

  • I want an scooter but doesnt indicate if it's either 7 or 10% off very confusing

  • Would trading cards come under toys? Unsure what category it would be in?

    • Yea amazon catagory are so hard to understand. I see Pokémon TCG in toys and games department. But unsure if it qualifies…

  • Hi folks esp @gotyourback - I see that even though both CR and shopback say that activating on the browser is valid for only one transaction, that the "activated" banner stays green and "activated" even after a purchase. Given it's best to buy multiple Amazon items as separate transactions so if you return something, you don't lose your entire cashback, does anyone know if we still have to re-activate every single transaction, even if that "activated" green banner is showing?

    • Definitely you always need to reactivate.

      • +1

Fair enough - wish they'd adjust that extension so it didn't incorrectly show "Activated" even after a purchase then.

  • @gotyourback I am thinking about getting some Instax camera film refill but wasn't sure what category it fell into…. Anyone know if there is away to tell what category something falls into??

    • Shows on desktop above the item images what category it is. If you link the item I could tell you. Only 1 hour to go though so be quick.

      • Cool that is great to know. In this instance the trail is Electronics › Camera & Photo › Accessories › Film

Is it the Camera category then??

        This is the item https://www.amazon.com.au/Fujifilm-Instax-Instant-Sheets-873…

I will keep a close look for the next big promotion!!

        • It's always the first category from the left, so Electronics.
