Dell Universal Dock - WD15
USBC Power delivery up to 130W for Dell devices, 60W for non-Dell Devices
Great device for all working from home. Good price, says $95 in the eBay add itself.
I was looking for another powersupply for Dell laptops and thought I might as well get this, solving two problems in 1.
Enjoy :)

Thanks for the info, I've got a Dell work laptop and they'll reimburse me for this purchase so seemed like a win-win for an extra charger for me.
Bought off their eBay store before at same price. Good little unit that lets me run 2 external (FHD) monitors and my internal screen on my Chromebook or Surface Pro X Must admit not the stablest dock and often needs the power plug pulled and reinserted to be recognised by both my machines but a minor inconvenience.
Really recommend against these the cable breaks and the usb-c connector and gets very wobbly. We had them at work and after a few expensive proprietary cable replacements we chose to decomission them.
Thanks, was on the fence, decided not to grab it.
I can second this. A few at my work have been repaired due to the usb C cable not providing charge or connection. Now they have spare cables just incase it happens.
part # for the cable or where to buy from?
EDIT
Geez.. didn't even realise you can move the rubber cover underneath the reveal he 2 screws that hold this cable
Sorry wouldn't know the exact details. I just reported the damage to IT to fix.
Note it can only do 1080p max if you have dual displays.

Have one for work. Didn't love it. I cant recall for sure but I think it used to struggle to connect the monitor occasionally or something.
Currently just using a USB-C straight from the laptop to the monitor. Then using the USB hub in the monitor. Works better for me. The only difference is I need to plug in the lan cable. Either way I would still be using some of the USB ports in the laptop too.
How can it tell between Dell and non-Dell? Proprietary connector? But those are power only, right? How does this even work?
Showing up as sold out now
Sounds like some offices got liquidated.
These were notoriously unreliable at work. Not just the monitor flashing issues (which were reduced in frequency but never truly fixed), but you can also expect the power output to randomly drop to 60W even on Dell devices that need more, random snow to appear on the screen, and to have to pull the plug entirely every week or so.
Still much better than the old TB15s which overheated to the point where you'd have to change their orientation to redirect heat elsewhere or, as recommended on a support forum, put them in the fridge for 5 minutes :|
4k30 vomits
For around the same price (without a charger though) I think you'd be better off getting one of these cheap MST dongles
https://www.amazon.com.au/Simplecom-DA450-USB-C-Multiport-Ad… $50
https://www.amazon.com.au/HEYMIX-Charging-Available-Chromebo… $51, USB hub and SD reader

I really needed the extra charger in this case but I hope someone can make use of the suggestions.
I wouldn’t buy used docking stations, we toss tonnes of various makes and models over the years when they starting to play up. Guess where they’ll ended up?
Is there a prize for guessing right?
We use WD19s at my work and they work great. I was surprised to see so much negativity here, but after a little bit of research it looks like the WD19 fixed a lot of the WD15 issues. Guess I won't be getting one for home!
Not bad, literally bought one for $65 2nd hand on ebay 2 weeks ago.. quite useful and compatible with A LOT of thunderbolt laptops, plug all accessories/monitors into it and swap between my razer/xps13 and my work x1 carbon. Pretty sure it works with Samsung phones with DEX
The only caveat with it is, and if the firmware isn't already updated to fix the monitor flashing issues, you have to plug it into a Dell to complete the firmware update as it somehow uses the host Dells EUFI/BIOS.
