Or get the 16GB Iphone 4 on Vodafone for $5 on $29 Cap:

From my experience, the extra 8GB does matter, cause all the apps & music & photo really add up.

    • sold out. most stores also sold out. white 32gb model same price if you can find it.

Actually, this page seemes to indicate that Vodafone are offering the 32GB white for $5 on the $29 cap.

Looks like it may be a typo. When you click the "get this deal" link it displays the 16GB model. Maybe you could convince them to give you the 32GB if you call them.

        • There aren't actually any 32s in stock anywhere - we had to send back our old 3 ones so they could be relocked for Vodafone just to fulfill the online orders we already had. Same will happen with the 16s soon I imagine so be quick if you're keen.

          Also out of stock

One word. Vodafone. Wait, isn't their name Vodafail? They're used interchangeably so much that I forget.

  • Man, why can't Telstra have cheap plan deals, this is what i'm hanging out for :(

Thats like asking why cant BMW match toyotas prices…

      • LOL - yeah :-)

Because Telstra don't think they have to. They prefer to screw you over at the highest possible price rather than offering you a bargain to do so.

  • optus also has 2months free access. got one yesterday.

    • Vodafone's offering 3 months free access, I think.

  • Make sure it has the 2 year warranty otherwise take it back

  • heh only get 200mb now on $29 plan, I get 250mb and I still have my iphone 3G and still paying the stupid plan. not for much longer though, going to liveconnected until galaxy s3 is released.

  • Yeah thanks Optus NOT - i got my white 32gb via the vodafone deal for the same price. Optus are always the last with the good deals and I got sick of it and switched and I don't regret it ;-)

  • Take it from me as an existing Optus customer, Telstra is worth the extra money. Optus 3G coverage is pathetic/non existent in parts of Sydney, which is inexcuseable in a major city when they are the nation's second biggest mobile provder. I will be going back to Telstra as soon as my contract expires.

As for this deal, not bad, but if you like to use data that allowance is pretty low.

As an existing Telstra customer, who is sick of being scammed and overcharged by them I can say their prepaid customers get a far better deal from them than those who they have locked into contracts.

Anyone who is considering entering into a contract with them should check their site beforehand to make sure the store provides them with any options that might be available. ie contract term etc

  • 200MB is browsing google maps for five minutes. That's if the maps even load - which is a big if, considering how bad the Optus network is.

    • not really. I use google maps a fair bit and I get 250mb, never gone over. And I browse the web everyday on it.
