are they the same as this though
there seems to be 3 modelsthe uber cheap ones are the trigger types
theres this one with the adjustable flame size knob
and then theres the more expensive orange knob at the backFair question.
I own the trigger one and the orange knob one. The trigger one is better IMHO as you have an adjustable flame at the back and the trigger ignite.
But ultimately, they're all identical in function and quality at this price point.
Here's the same one as the Amazon listing, only different colour.

is this the "trigger" version?

@davidl2: Yes
isnt the orange one adjustable flame at the back? the trigger one you have to constantly hold down right? so wouldnt it be easier with the knob one?
@furythree: The trigger just ignites the gas. The trigger does not need to be held in like a gas match to keep the flame alive.
This along with a hairdryer, is the best/fastest way to light charcoal for bbq.
I've had looftlighters, and other gadgets, but this burner does the job quickest and cheapest to replace.Bought one, thanks.
Cheers just bought one. Which 'tank' do you recommend using with this?
dont you just use a normal butane canister?
Whatever is the cheapest at the time:

or SCA, BCF, Woolies, Kmart, or such..These are great for lighting a campfire in wet weather ;)
Cheers for that - just wanted to make sure there was no 'fancy' fitting.
Thanks OP got one.
OOS?
Eurgh, sold out while I was checking out.
It is OOO :(
I guess you press the orange knob for ignition? …
The one I got from FT a few years back has a pistol trigger style on/off & igniter:

I suspect this style is probably more user friendly….I got one, bring on more smoking
can get one of these for $9.41

Take the hyper-inflated $29 retail with a grain of salt.
These things are under $12 on ebay for local stock, and about half that ex-china.
$10 is still good, but you're saving $2, not $20.
