It was the same price a few weeks ago. The NW-800 is the newer model and comes with more extras and is on sale again too, but for just under $20 not $16 like last time.

The price for the NW-700 has gone back up from $11.89 to $27.99 too. The OP changed the deal to the one with the phantom power supply. Neewer have a habit of upping the prices constantly once they start to sell…
some of the reviews mention white noise and having to crank it all the way up. Thinking of getting one to use on the laptop/phone, would it work better than the rode videomic pro that I already have?

A bit of topic… but does anyone know how the quality of the boom arms are? I just bought a razer siren x and this exact boom arm…
They're okay. I got a couple and they are slightly different to one another but both do the job fairly well. It's worth it when these are $12 just for the arm and shock mount.
Mine didn't come with the stand. I got it for $11. It should come with it right?
No stand, look at the photo as well.
These mics can be very good value if you have an audio interface with phantom power, better than most headset mics imo. My friends NW-700 still seems to work reasonably well plugged into the mic jack with the mic boosted in windows but YMMV.
