  Is this version the one with soft rubber grips or the hard ones that the cheaper models use? I used to use the Deathadder 2012 edition and it was amazing, but the recent ones have all used this hard "rubber" that just wasn't nice to touch

  I'd buy this if it wasn't for Razer Synapse, it's somehow worse than some cheap chinese mouse's own custom software that I've tried before. Keeps crashing and having problems for me.

    Apparently once you have installed it and setup the mouse how you want, you can uninstall Synapse because the mouse has onboard memory

  So i received this mouse.And its so light.

  Razer use a proprietery shaped micro usb connector to charge the mouse.You cannot connect a normal microusb cable to charge.

  But guess the extremes that Razer go to force you to use only that cable..
  I have a Razer Mamba wireless as well and it has a similar cable but i cant use the mamba cable to charge the deathadder because they have slightly changed the shape and dimensions.
