It would be interesting to know where these Huggies are manufactured.

Huggies has a warning on their website regarding imports
    http://www.huggies.com.au/imported-product-alert

"We have found the imported Huggies® nappies have been manufactured in a number of different countries overseas, and are being imported on an ad hoc basis. They are made to different specifications (so they may not meet your performance needs) and are not made or imported by the Huggies® team nor Kimberly-Clark Australia.

As such we cannot guarantee that the imported product will meet your performance expectations"

I bought some of these last time they were available. They're Asian stock and are thinner and smaller in size, compared to local Huggies nappies.

My boy is 7.5kg so I bought the Medium (5-10kg) size… couldn't even get them on him =/ If you're going to buy them, suggest you go for a larger size.

Currently, these work out to 27.5c/nappie for the Large size, whilst the current Big W special has them at 29.3c/nappie. For the sake of ~$2, might be worth just going for the better quality local ones.

      I agree..
we got some for our new daughter last time and they are far from being the same size or quality as the local versions..

The baby love ones at BigW end up being cheaper than this and much better fitting/absorbing..

You are right. These are not the same as the Huggies that you buy from Wollies and Coles. If you want good quality, cheap nappies, try the Aldi range. Otherwise you'd be better to buy the local Huggies.

      • I also agree… I bought 2 box of it, thinking I'm getting the best value; instead we have to change the nappy frequently otherwise it leaks. local Huggies is definately most recommended, and currently I think Big W has them a special for $29 a box. Not recommended at least for me.

yeah but imagine how super-hero 240 of them stuck all over your body would look. Sooo much more fun than that stupid pad commercial.

Oh Don't be discouraged Bleugh, post the deals & let the discussion begin!
Someone sent the missus this deal & she asked me, if i hadn't of seen the posts about them possibly being poor quality imports, then we probably would have wasted out dough - so thanks!
