  • These or the zojirushi ones?

I did a lot of research on these a while back and can say the Contigo Westloop is better than both. After scouring the net for tumbler reviews the one commonality is that the Contigo Westloop is either the best or top couple. I do like YThermos, though. My soup/congee/porridge comes to work in my Thermos 710 food jar, which is awesome.

      • Contigo is priced same as well.

I have the Contigo Westloop and a Zojirushi. The Zoji holds the heat a lot longer than the Contigo, almost too much. As a general travel mug I use the Contigo more.

      • there is a video on youtube comparing the contigo, the zojirushi and i think a yeti, pretty sure the zojirushi beat both in the heat / cold retention tests. i think the zojirushi is better than the contigo, from what i've seen, they win most, if not all heat retention tests

    • I think this is the same Thermos I purchased at Big W a year or so ago. Ended up taking it back after it leaked through my bag. Got one of the Zojirushi ones and have had no issues.

Size of unit in title please, 470ml…

  • does anyone know of an insulated cup/bottle that has no plastics coming in contact with the liquid inside?

    • I don't think you can find an bottle which has no plastic and always the cap and sprouts are in contact with your drink

    • Im looking for those preferrably pure glass ones as well, let me know if you find any!

These are ok, I have two. Feels cheapish but better than sigma brand at temp retention in my experience.

  • Everyone at work has change from Contigo. To Yetti. I've yet to see Yetti have a sale online

try zojirushi. yeti are good, but not for how much you pay for them. yeti are vastly overpriced, the products are good, but they have seen how much money they can make off hipsters and brand slaves, so they overprice their products and those types of people are happy to pay them.

      • Cheers thanks

      • I had a look and the Zojirushi are hell expensive. I had a look on ebay. Will wait for a sale on Amazon
