I'd think, it's because the modem locked to Optus. Thanks for the info though
No, my vodafone ones work nicely
Yes mine too on Vodafone, BUT someone on whirlpool said it worked with telstra MVNO's which seems bizarre. Haven't tried it.
Apparently the one being sold here is locked to Optus. Reviews have proven it so.
Be warned that Optus are now shipping a new model E3372h-608 in the same packaging as the old model E3372h-607.
The new model is locked to Optus and has completely redesigned firmware and web GUI.
@[Deactivated]: Mine is 608 model, red sleeve. Bought in OW from the last promo. But the dongle is NOT network locked. Other sims (from both Vodafone and Telstra) worked just fine. I assume different batch has different settings?
However, trust me, you donβt want 608 model anyway. It has new firmware so cannot be converted to stick mode.
Better off buying an old flagship. I always find them to be much fastern dlowriquxefjslobutrk ejlvn.c;

This will be a E3372-608, thus limited to only being used as a USB modem in a computer.
E3372-607, is what you'll need for something like the TP-Link TL-MR3020
How do you get the startup data ? It asked me to recharge when I activate the sim.
Note to others. Telstra sims don't work :-(
