Unfiltered and raw… so what you are saying is there is a small risk of Clostridium botulinum so we shouldn't feed it to young infants or the immunosuppressed?

    • +2

Yes, it is always instructed, not to feed Raw Honey to infants. Whatever the brand or variety it is.

  • Probably trying to say it's not 60% real honey like almost everything you buy in supermarkets. Google it

    • If it's 60% honey but only 30% of the price then I reckon I'll stick with that rather than spreading this on my toast

Or if I was paranoid about fake Chinese honey I could buy a 450g jar of 100% pure B Honey from Coles for $8.50

Call me when it gives you super powers because that's what I'd expect for $31 a jar, shipped, on special

  • Why is it so expensive? I usually buy Nate’s 100% pure Australian raw and unfiltered honey, from Woolies, 500 gm around $9 to $10

    • Jelly Bush (Leptospermum) is claimed to be active like Manuka (some topical effects on wounds, questionable on any internal benefits when eaten [above and beyond normal honey]). So it's not your normal raw stuff.

I never buy honey from supermarkets, only from hive operators, usually available at regional markets or word of mouth

30% discount and then 30% shipping = deal?

    • Shipping is something we can't escape from, when delivering a product at doorstep. Its not about costing only. Online shopping is about options, variety, time saving and flexibility of payment too. But we are trying to work upon pricing constantly. We are growing and gradually, as our online sales would pick up further, we would be able to offer more aggressive pricing. Stay connected. Keep showing your support.

Go on FB marketplace, search and buy honey from backyard owners who run hobby beehives. Better value for sure.

    • +1

Agreed, better in every way supporting local bee keepers
