    Surprisingly my QC35 first gen from 2016 are still going strong after a ear pad replacement. The battery life is still fine, too.
    Although they don't get much use nowadays cause of my Airpods Pro

        Pretty similar. The Airpods probably don't need quite as strong ANC as they are in-ears and block noise just by virtue of being in your ears.
        The Airpods also have passthrough mode which I find super handy, I don't think the new QC35II's have that.

          Yeah……Cheers. Quite impressive given that the Bose have a lot more passive NC to assist with the active NC.

          No, the ii's don't have constant passthrough (just the usual momentary thought a button press).

            @ash2000: There is a difference but you won’t notice much unless you’re on a plane or very loud environment. Even then APP can be used when sleeping on a side pillow.
