[ACT] Bose Soundtouch 30 Series 3 $350 in-Store @ Myer, City Center

110

They also had heaps of the Soundtouch 10 for $150

https://www.myer.com.au/p/bose-soundtouch-10-wireless-music-…

It says out of stock on website, but ACT City Center store has some in the discount bins and the guy said heaps out the back as well. Might be the same situation at other Myers around the country.

Cheaper than any other deals for this in OzBargain history.

Good speaker, assign one of the shortcut button to my synology and works like a treat.

The S10’s have decent sound but no good using with TV that I’ve found. Bluetooth lag is way too much. They also don’t have optical in, so no dice there either. Shortcut buttons on top for accessing 6 preset internet radio streams are handy though. As is the facility to wirelessly link multiple S10s together.

@Gaelic… I have the Bose Soundtouch 30 Series 3 (in the title). The difference in sound quality between the 10 and the 30 is quite significant too.

    1. No such lag (latency) issues with my Blue-tooth devices.
    2. Using the AUX output to a "TaoTronics Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter and Receiver, Digital Optical TOSLINK and 3.5mm Wireless Audio Adapter for TV/Home Stereo System - Low Latency"

Again, no latency with the Blue-tooth. You can also output via a TOSlink cable to your audio system. although I use the following (expensive @ $201.55 from Amazon AU but you may be able to get one cheap on eBay or GumTree… not really a high demand item and it would be a long wait)
      Gefen Digital Audio Decoder (GTV-DD-2-AA)

I am using hese devices as I have a lovely high quality audio system that I would like to hold onto until the end of my days. The quality of build on most high-end gear these days is more a product 'brand engineering' by marketing peoplerather than high quality components..
