Still feels like a huge burn when Samsung where giving the S21+ With the whole return/voucher for $649 only 2weeks ago.
The $400 trade-in bonus has been extended. So S21 is $699 from Samsung, less your trade-in. Or just "change your mind" and keep your old phone.

Samsung are happy for you to pretend to upgrade. They want you to buy direct, but have to pretend not to be undercutting the retailers.
OP, Normal price is $1099. Quoting 25% discount based on an old RRP is deceptive and potentially illegal in Australia.

Looked at the Samsung page and curious to know how you get that special at $699 when they won't accept my phone as a trade in "S9 128gb". My battery is dying, but I want keep my phone for motorcycle navigation, it can be plugged in all the time.
699 is the standard 1099 price less $400 "trade-up" bonus. If you actually sent an old phone in, you get more off.
I don't know why "S9 128gb" is not on the list (just 64 & 256). Is it an import? Try downloading and running the tradeup app.
Or just borrow a phone for the purpose.
