    Any king size options OP?

    • Hi Curtiss,

Unfortunately we have only got Queen Size and Double Size for now.

      Thanks,
      Zinus

  • Hey OP, it seems to be double instead of Queen?

edit: oops i see the queen size now

      Hey Velleyy,

If you click on "Go to Deal", it's the queen one, where the double one is the one when you clicked the link in the description. But thanks for pointing that out, I'll add the link to the queen one in the description too.

      Thanks,
      Zinus

      Hi Aarick,

Apology - It seems strange that similar style bought from other manufacturer/seller resulted in a downvote for our deal post.

This is the first gas lift bed from Zinus that is introduced to Australian market and it is backed by 5 year warranty. We only have this style a week ago.

We engineered our bed for strength and sturdiness especially gas lift. This model can withstand 378kgs weight and equipped with easy-lift hydraulic system.

Hope this clarifies. You're most welcome to try our gas lift bed and give us some input :)

      Thanks,

      Zinus

Engineered? you mean source from a China manufacturer?
If you engineered this, how come it looks exactly the same as every other ones on ebay with the same position and style of the middle feet?
Look at your photo, the frame is already bent at the middle where the mattress is sitting on.
Just admit it that this was just sourced from a cheap overseas manufacturer!
        Engineered…LOL…so funny…giving engineers like myself a bad name…

          Hi Aarick,

Thank you for your time in providing a response. Across all sellers, the bed frames will have similar style and photo angle. The only difference is the quality and the manufacturer.

While, we are unable to comment on other seller manufacturers, we manufacture our own product and all of our bed frames are backed by a 5 Year Warranty. This is why we are different than other outsourcing sellers.

If you would like to discuss this further, our customer service team is available on 1800 687 791.

          Thanks

You just bored and trolling bro?

          • -3

@Trishool: I hate crappy quality products and want to inform others about it…

  • If it works anything like the car ones it seems dangerous around kids when the gas wears out

  • Hi OP
Which queen mattress is recommended for lower back support. As I am a not sure on quality of so many mattresses being sold on eBay . May be they are only meant to last 2-3 years. Need something that's not too soft.
    TIA

    • Hi Sonny08,

If you are looking for a great lower back support, look for the one with memory foam in it, the best for that would be the Hybrid Mattress which can be found here:
      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/363411523531

Under Colour selection, just choose Hybrid Copper Memory Foam, you can go with either a 25cm thick or a 30cm thick, but from our personal experience, 30cm is the one to go for. As it is not too soft but still give a great comfort feeling.

Last but not least, our mattresses comes with Worry-Free 10-Year Warranty, so you don't have to worry about that.

      Thanks,
      Zinus

  • Hi OP,

Which of your mattresses would you recommend for side sleepers?

Also which is your firmest mattress?

    Thanks in advance

    • Hi Simple264,

Thanks for reaching out, let me help you out here, for mattress recommendation for side sleepers, any mattress thickness within 20-25cm thick is best, for the type of mattresses, it's depending on your preference whether you prefer memory foam, pocket spring or hybrid mattress.

And to answer your second question, with consideration on the first question too, our firmest mattresses that suits side sleepers are as follows:

      Memory Foam Mattress
      • Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress 20cm (Firmness Level 5.5)
      • Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress 25cm (Firmness Level 5.9)
      Pocket Spring Mattress
      • Tight Top Edge Support Mattress 25cm (Firmness Level 5.7)
      • Will you be making this bed in a king size anytime soon?

        • Hi Simple264,

We are not too sure at this stage, but we will announce it here as soon as we have it available.

          Thanks,
          Zinus

    • Can you clarify what you mean by a side sleeper? Is it a person who sleeps on the side of their body, or a person who tends to sleep to the sides of the bed?

      • +1

        Hi Trishool,

Side sleeper refers to someone who sleep on the side of their body, not the side of the bed.

        Thanks,
        Zinus

  • I got this and it lasted about 1 year before the boardboard snapped. Build quality leaves a lot to be desired.

We bought another wooden base that cost us a bit and now our mattress holds much better on it than this deal's base. Looking back I can see that the support wasnt great for the mattress.

Based on my experience, wouldnt recommend.

      Hi Undadog,

Not sure if you have seen the comment that we replied to aarick earlier. It seems that you have bought it from someone else, not Zinus. I'm not sure why the downvote.

  • Hi Op, how are your warranty claims handled here in Australia. I couldn't find an address or a contact number for customer support. I've bought stuff from ebay earlier with long warranties only to find the seller unresponsive when there is an issue. Just want to make sure you guys have support system in place since I want to get a frame and mattress.

    • Hi 1centless,

You can always send us a message via eBay message, or reach out to us here, or even contact our customer service at 1800 687 791.

      Thanks,

  • Saved the bed in my cart last night then this morning I got an offer for $341 so with 20% discount it goes down to $251 for queen size. Will let you know how it goes.

So up date to the bed, received delivery quick. The chap delivering also waited for me to get home I was 10 mins away. Packaging is good too; it was delivered on rainy day but all components are plastic wrapped. Only extremely minor concern is plastic wrap the styrofoam/filler but it's something have than havenot I suppose. I am a hobby maker so I can say the machine tolerance is definitely not like your dollar shop variety, all tight fit before bolting. Well thought out bolt and nuts packaging too. Very appreciative of the design. I can suggest please put ABN and invoice for us Aussie. Have not test the bed wink but thumbs up for the price and product.

      • Thanks for sharing your initial experience. How are you finding the frame after sleeping on it for a week or so? I'm thinking of buying this as well, and was keen to know how sturdy (or not) it is. Does the frame creak when you get on the bed? Is the gas struts connected to a steel beam or could it be a potential weak point/point of failure in the future with prolonged use? Thanks in advance.
