I bought this knife set a few months ago at a lesser discount and while in this price range it probably doesn't rate in the upper echelons of kitchen knives, they look good, were very sharp out of the box and feel well balanced. Aside from that, at the price offered you are still getting a decent deal if you consider the magnetic knife block on it's own.
