Honestly I thought this was the base price. Good game , but it really needs to be around the $50 mark. It's exceptionally short. $69 for the ultimate edition would be better

Yep. When you put the disc into your PS5 it will let you download the PS5 version from the playstation store but the PS4 version discs still needs to be inserted to play the PS5 version. If that makes sense?

Yeah, I was hoping for $79… and I could have swallowed that as a "last gen new game price", was also hoping that GoT was $39 or so, as I didn't jump on it the last time it hit that price.

Tech wise, it benefits from the fast loading of PS5 and hardware ray tracing support.
FeeBay plus deal was $39 though… so while 'without coupon', this might be the cheapest, it's not the best deal on this (if you factored in coupon deal(s) in the past).

I think you'll get it for $50 by then, I think it's holding its value at the moment as there really isn't that many first party games that take advantage of the PS5 hardware available at the moment, so it's probably still selling well for all the new PS5 owners coming on board each month.
By November there should be more titles this will need to compete with so it will drop.
