It's always a curve when it comes to tech. Spend $x for extra % boost. It will literally never end. Then there's also a "wait x-months for next iteration" comments.
These are insane specs for the price. There are cons, but these are once again justified by the price:
45% NTSC & 250 nits — Meh. What do you really expect?? It's 1080P which is good enough tho
8GB RAM — Idk much about this laptop, but since it's only one stick, it shouldn't be too hard to upgrade to 16 easily^^ on the surface, that's pretty much it actually. The design looks way better than the price you're paying, and the Ryzen is good. Windows 10 Home is alright, and you even get a USB Type-C port too :)
I don't need a laptop and even I'm tempted.
Good job OP
Hmm wonder if I should sidegrade my aging Asus laptop with an i7-4700HQ + 4GB GTX 850M, not that I need to tbh.
That's not a sidegrade lmao, this GPU destroys yours.
Yeah true but I don't really game that much anymore. I only really play l4d2 lol. The CPU seems to hold its weight against the 3550H though. And my laptop still has a blu-ray drive lol. The price is just super tempting, specially with 10% SB!
Not eligible for cashback with the coupon as its not listed.
The 4700HQ is a 47W TDP chip, vs the 3550H at 35W TDP.
The 3550H scores 8095 in Passmark, vs 5515 of the 4700HQ in Passmark.

Thanks OP!
I got the laptop from this deal :
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/624182
but I'm still within the 14 day return window. Do you guys think this is a better option if I return the other one and buy this instead. I don't do gaming on laptops…just for general use…
i5-1035G1 is around 6 months newer and less power hungry…apart from this laptop having the option of GTX 1650 Graphics, the rest of the specs are more or less the same so I'm confused whether this would be better value for money…
TIA
That one is new
How heavy is yours? This is over 2kg.
How do I get this for $643.44, it dosnt look eligible for cashback?
Am I missing something ?
Thanks in advance.

Sadly, yes.
All Gone.
Has anyone gotten their laptop and 2gbof ram is unusable dedicated to being hardware reserved
You reckon they'd have this for eofy
I'm sure there will be nitpicks about the specs and crap screen but this is one of the cheapest ways to get into PC gaming right now.
