      I doubt Eddie is still in the IT retail business. According to some very old rumours floating around on the internet one of his family members supposedly holds a senior position at Logitech.     Paid $160.55 in 2019, not complaining. :D

    However, it is super annoying that the keyboard and mouse are not synced (in my case MX Master 3).

        To switch between devices, you have to press the easy switch button on the keyboard and mouse separately.

        It doesn't sound like much but it is super annoying if you need to regularly switch back and forth. The keyboard has dedicated buttons 1, 2, 3, which is handy. But the mouse only has a small round button underneath, it cycles through 1, 2, 3. So you need to lift the mouse and press twice to switch from 2 to 1.

        I understand the technical limitations, these devices are designed to broadcast radio signals: keystrokes, mouse movement/clicks, etc. But not to receive commands, so the keyboard can't tell the mouse to switch (either directly or through the computer) and vice versa.

        But being a higher end keyboard (MX Keys) and mouse (MX Master 3) in the Logitech line up, and the fact that keyboard and mouse work as a pair, it is totally reasonable to expect both devices can switch together, or selectable to switch together or separately.

          To manually switch between computers, yes, you would need to press the button on both the keyboard and mouse. Unless you install Logitech Options and enable Flow on both (or three) devices. This lets you move the mouse to the edge of the screen and continue on the other computer screen, no button press needed. This will also automatically switch the keyboard as well. I personally make it so you move to the edge of the screen and need to press crtl in order to move to my other laptop, had too many accidental mouse moves across that made it a pain in the ass.

            @drycleanonly: I'm aware of Flow, idea is not new, I have used Synergy (when it was free) 10+ years ago, and more recently Mouse without Borders (Windows only).

            It relies on both computers talking to each other, not as reliable as direct connections.

            @drycleanonly: Thanks for bringing this up. I have just gave Flow a go. It works a bit differently than other virtual KVM software.

            With other software, keyboard and mouse are connected to only one of the devices, key strokes and mouse movements are carried over the local network.

            With Flow, keyboard and mouse are connected to both devices, moving the mouse across Windows border does change (switch) the linked Keyboard.

            This is more advanced and reliable, it uses the network to trigger, then direct input to each device.

            Which also means that they are capable of receiving a command to change channel, and can be implemented if they choose to.

      Ebay photo shows 920-009413 (UK layout), description states 920-009418 (US layout).

      Chances are it's the regular US layout (long/horizontal enter key).

    My personal experience buying from this eBay shop was that I didn't get any warranty when my expensive mouse from them died after a few months. They kept dodging and then stopped responding. Didn't even provide invoice even when asking for it multiple times. might be my luck but keep it in mind. YMMV.

      Logitech products come with a 3 year replacement warranty, it would be a shame to lose that.

      As pointed out above , Wireless1 have reduced their price, so it's actually $1 cheaper now. They email a tax invoice automatically.

    I love this keyboard, it's a premium price, but it is such a smooth comfortable typing experience that you'll forget the extra $$$ you spent
    soon after you get your new keyboard up and running. The MX Master 3 mouse makes a very compatible partner to this keyboard also.

    How does the typing feel compared to the Apple Magic keyboard that comes with an iMac? I already have an MX Master 3 for Mac and considering completing the set.

    Actually this is black isn’t it? Not the space grey version for Mac, right?

      They have them setup in JB HiFi if you wanted to test them out. I have both - Magic for home and MX Keys for work. Both have their positives - magic keyboard is light, compact and the keystrokes are ‘crisp’ while the MX Keys has a longer stroke (a lot mushier, but still very satisfying).

      Very subjective as to which has the better feel but I can’t pick a clear favourite based on typing feel. The colour is quite close to a space grey.

      I find it a lot easier to type. Your fingers basically sit inside of the buttons. I also have another comput0er I use on my desk. The keyboard makes it easier to switch to the other computer with a press of a button. There is a mac version. I have the space grey mac version.

    Wireless1 have reduced their price to beat The Logitech shop by $1.

    As noted above, the Logitech Shop do not sent a tax invoice (important for your 3 year warranty). Wireless1 does.

    I use a MX vertical mouse which would pair up nicely with this, been interested in them for a while. Anyone know if motion flow works with the MX vertical as well? I've got a drop Ctrl alt keyboard that gets a bit loud/tiring for office work at home, although otherwise excellent. Still miss the number pad slightly for cad/engineering but not how the longer keyboard gets in the way of the mouse a bit. A calculator on the desk is handy, still takes a bit longer entering numbers in using the top row.

    Hmm tough decision, kind of a waste having one sitting around but wouldn't be too hard alternating and I'm sure id get some use out of it or take to an office to use in the future.
