Cheers OP. Ordered the Flight Decks.
Damn they went fast. Anyone looking at goggles too, once you go wide view (the flight decks for example), you never go back!
that's what she said.
- Michael ScottOooh, that's good to hear!! For some reason I've been stuck alternating the same (smaller frame) googles for like 7 years… I've always been envious on Japow trips when conditions change and people switch lenses too; I end up digging into my backpack for my backup pair.
Any suggestions on where to get lenses? They look more expensive than the googles were hahaha
Definitely going to try and find some low lights (probably HI Pink) for Japow whiteouts. Might consider some black lenses for blinding Aussie days too…
p.s. If anyone is still sniffing around or thinks it worthy of posting another deal, they've still go the XM (smaller frame) Flight Decks and Fall Lines in stock and on special:

https://www.sunglasshut.com/au/oakley-goggles/oo7106-8883924…Yeah buying extra lenses can be really expensive!
I normally buy a set that includes one or two spare lenses, typically last years model from a anywhere. Ebay has been good on occasion.
In terms of colour. TLDR - go black/amber/yellow.
I personally have a black for a sunny day. Absolutely brilliant. I find sunnies aren't quite the same. A really heavy red ion can work too.
I have an amber ion. I like the ion, find it takes the edge off the glare…or it's a placebo =p
For overcast days with maybe a light snow, I have a pink and can't stand it. I find the contrast horrible. My mate has a light yellow with a tad of a reflective coating. Seems to work well.either that or straight up yellow.
In a whiteout I've tried clears and yellows. Both have been better, depending on the conditions.
At night you need a clear.
Interesting - haven't tried yellows. Always gone clears on whiteouts/heavy-overcast… good idea re trying mates lenses before buying; I'll do that.
These came with a rose lens, which wouldn't have been my first pick for an all rounder but hey - $110 shipped, can't complain really.
Can't believe the Aussie season is less than a month away. Frothing. Hopefully less of a punish than 2020 was.
Thanks OP. Bought one, but not sure I'll get to hit the slopes this year.
