Found a deal using the classic LOVEKEANU code on Dell's website, an Alienware M15 R3 for $2,863.47 with an RTX 2080 Super. Little bit outdated with the 3000 series out but still a very capable GPU, only thing keeping me from buying it is a lack of HDMI 2.1. Don't forget 6% cash rewards.

That's a lot of money for a laptop.

        username does not check out.

  • It appears (on paper) to be on par with the newer 3070 M15 R4 ($3,347.07).

Intel 11th Gen Core H45 has been officially released yesterday(finally 10nm for H series). In my opinion, it is worth waiting for.

  • 2080 Super after the 3000 series is out? And at this price?

    • I was under the impression the 3000 series isn't the generational leap in power/cooling-limited laptops as it is on the desktop.

      • Agreed… Came from 2070 Super Max-P to 3070 Max-Q and i see little difference in performance.. maybe 1000 points of Timespy gfx score…

        • Gotta research man!! Even the 3060-p is equivalent to the 3070-q.

          • @Canberralad92: 2060 p was equivalent to the 2070 q so that is not new news…

fortunately i have the luxury of being able to buy new gaming laptop every year…

the most significant jump i had was from 2070q to 2070 super p which goes to show TGP is very important…

unfortunately though its not easy to find a high TGP gfx card on a slim laptop…

MSI Stealth, Asus Zephyrus, Gigabyte Aero those are slim but only does q at the moment…

Gigabyte Aorus, MSI GExx, etc provide high TGP gfx cards but are noticeably thicker and heavier…

I think the slimmest high TGP gfx at the moment Legion 7 16" even though its slightly protruding at the back beyond the hinger (similar to AW M15)…

Holy wow, this coupon code is STILL going strong!

    • But they've changed what it can be used on as some unlucky punters in another thread found out.

      • which thread?

haha they love keanu long time

  • Is it worth to buy comparing the R12 3080 + Monitor Deal ? It seems 2080Super is pretty good, and 16days delivery instead 44!

  • Windows 10 home lol

    • Quite common actually… In most cases you dont need Pro unless of course you need to be joined to a domain…

    • At least it's activated :)
