    I have two of the 1500A versions which has the addition of the 15V to Cigarette Adapter - it's great to also power the camping lights alongside the USB for tablets / phones

    Haven't needed to start the car yet with it, but the reviews / youtube videos show it doesn't have a problem!

    If these were ony half charged would they still be able to jump start?

    (Like, is a jump start dependant on current or voltage?)

    Thinking this because it's enver good to leave batteries at full charge if y ou're not using them. If it's at half charge, would that affect the jump start capacity?

      The user manual says that it must be over 60% charged to jump start a car, so I would keep it at ~75% to be on the safe side.

        Manual also says to recharge after you have jumped even once.

      Those clamps really clamp. Don't think you'll get Leathal Weapon style shower shocks

    Got the 1500A Oct2018. Jumped commodore a few times when battery was fading and jumped a stranger in the street who had a flat in a civic. charged phones and ipads during a blackout. Good deal. Sits under the passenger seat in the commodore awaiting next jump. Check it every couple of months and top up charge if required. I got the cigarette lighter attachment as well which I use with mini compressor tire pumps that has cig lighter for power.

      it's not a battery charger, but a car jumper, so your car battery is irrelevant to how this works

    Anyone found they don't recharge phones very well? like i would've thought it would recharge 1x Iphone, 1 Pixel (via the usb c) + apple watch a few times. But after one night it was already low, with blinky light, and don't think the phones were fully charged.

      Sounds faulty more than anything. at 18000mAH, should charge like at least 4 phones that are 4000mAH.

    I've had one for 2.5 years and definitely was helpful when it worked and did get a number of cars started. No longer charges now though. I think I will buy another though, wish it would have lasted a bit longer……..

    Mine literally hit the two-year mark and it no longer charges. It worked all the way up until one day it suddenly wouldn't charge. I used it fairly regularly as well.
