US$25 Worth of SG (Crypto) via Referral, 100% eBay Shopping Cashback as SG (US$500 Cap, 10,000 Participants) @ SocialGood App

220

Hi everyone,

My second post here, saw this deal recently on Youtube, not sure if it works but perhaps worth a post

So from what I know is you can get 25USD through a referral link (any), and both the inviter and the invitee will get it

Also currently there is a campaign, which I have just done via eBay AU, offering "100% Crypto Back eBay Shopping Campaign (up to 500 USD)" limited to the first 10,000 participants. 500USD worth of SG seems too good to be true, I took the risk, so ** proceed at your own risk **

More information about the 25USD Referral Program: Update April 8th 25 USD Referral Program

More information about the 100% Crypto Back eBay Shopping Campaign: UPDATE 100% Crypto Back eBay Shopping Campaign (up to 500 USD) Extends to May 31th, 2021

Just a quick guess, there is approx 5300 Telegram users ( link ), so maybe it's about halfway

*Update 07 May 2020:

  • they haven't reached 10000 participants, and they will notify here once reached (or you can just ask)
  • I have received 102 SG from 1 eBay transaction (pending), for me it took approx 6-8hrs to show up. Others have reported up to 3 days (Reddit, Telegram, Youtube, etc.)

  • Hope this update might help, feel free to comment/ask

Referral Links

Referral: random (37)

Referee receives US$200 worth of SG after US$30 purchase within 30-days. Referrer receives US$200 worth of SG after referee satisfied referral requirements. (Usually US$50 worth each.)

definitely doesn't sound like a scam at all…

edit: even their crypto coin looks sus https://www.coinbase.com/price/socialgood

    • Completely different.
That story is about a Dogecoin trader.

Cant blaim the bloke can you? He has spent years building a super profitable business and Turkey just decided to ban it / pull the pin. If he remained, all assets would be ceased / terminated anyway. The poor bugga now needs to find a new country to live in and may use the capital he has to start again. He might even try and get money back to those who got burnt.

I don't think this scenario will ever play out here as China are all over Crypto.and see it as a way to further crush the US. We are in China's back pocket .. enough said.

Well played in getting out the country with a digital wallet so quickly…well played.

  • Going to test out the ebay thing so wish me luck lel

  • It seems that I got the "$25" worth of SG by using that referral code.
However the market value and the guaranteed value are both 0 in the Withdraw section….

    • under Assets, i'm seeing 24.99 usd

      • It means nothing if the "24.99" cannot be transferred out.

And furthermore on this coin, I found no where to sell it or trade it besides Bittrex.
Maybe because the country for my account is Australia? but it seems I cannot trade it at all.

Here is the warning from Bittrex -> Holdings -> SocialGood

"WARNING: This token is not available for trading in your locale. If you proceed, the tokens will be available to withdraw from the Holdings page, but you will not be able to swap them for another token or fiat."

        • i tapped on "more" and my 24.99 is still showing as pending…probably why we can't withdraw yet

Just looked up SG on coingecko. Has no marketcap data and bugger all trade volume.

    • Isnt that the point?

      • +2

As in they are startup? I see this as meaning there is no knowledge of the currency out there, therefore SG has no tradeable value (as you can't trade it, as no one wants to list it on an exchange as they have no idea what its worth as an exchange value… because it has no marketcap data).

Doesn't mean it won't ever get listed, but right now has no determinable value.

all crypto is sketch. buying into any of it this late in the game is stupidity. but you might want to buy this bridge which comes with a free $400k NFT of the bridge.

    • Market cap is 2 trillion max. Alot of way to go if adoption continues at the previous pace. The nft may outlast the bridge…

500USD worth of SG seems too good to be true, I took the risk, so ** proceed at your own risk **

Buy something from the good guys, myer or bing lee that you can return if you dont end up getting cashback

  • Already up to $55 USD in less than 2 hrs

Just hold for now i guess

  • So SG have a price guarantee on their SG, if it drops they will give you USDT… Anyone put in a request with the looming bloodbath?

  • Signup referral worked, so yeah handy for the $25 USD if it goes through. T&Cs something like a five month max wait for the refund fully processed. AliExpress in the sg app is also 100% cashback for the promo.

  • Just checked… And the cashback max is $500 per item. It's not capped to $500 total….

    • Yes USD$500 per transaction cap, so about $650 AUD. Purchased a fair bit on eBay via SG app last month, have about few thousand dollars worth of SG pending, hoping to get approved in about 45-60 days. But the coin trading volume is low. If can sell at $3.00 average would be nice. That would make my purchases on eBay free.

      • I'm guessing they only approve batches, so the price doesn't tank…

  • Just saw this thread now. It's still available and the 100% cashback off extended to 31/08. SG price has halved though. I feel bad for those who received cashback at $5.XX and now worth less than that. Hopefully SG can retain some value by the 45-60 days redemption period

  • Can someone confirm I'm getting this right…
You make a purchase (Say $10USD) on eBay
It tracks on Social Good within the next few days and you get $10 of SG based on the rate at the time it tracks
Sometime within the next month it gets confirmed by the store and you can withdraw it, if the value of SG changed from the time it tracked to now, you may lose/gain based on this.

    • +1

      Yes correct.

  • Does using eBay gift cards or using any promo discount code void the crypto back even if we buying through social good app….I am not talking about buying gift cards but actually using gift cards for payment….can someone please confirm this for me

    • When I used GC it tracked, but still not approved yet. YMMV

    • I asked them about this and they said you can't use gift cards but seeing as my purchases where I used gift cards all tracked… who knows?

After their incredibly successful 100% Cashback with eBay deal, SocialGood are now extending the same deal with the following retailers:

    AliExpress
    Banggood
    Trip.com
    FragranceNet.com
    AbeBooks
    Berrylook
    Dresslily
    Ebags
    Insta360
    KKday
    KLM Airlines
    Lovely Wholesale
    Marks and Spencer Australia
    Marriott International
    Newchic
    Nexcess
    Pink Boutique
    uBuy
    Yoox

Maximum per transaction is US $500 - if you spend $600, you'll still get $500 in SG.

I have personally used this service a number of times, within hours, the SG is in your account 'pending approval', and approval can take up to a month.

Very easy to trade once it's approved, just transfer to any ERC20 address or to one of the following exchanges:

    UniSwap
    BitMart
    Bittrex

    • I'm still waiting for purchases from May to be approved, until then still holding back a little to spend on this round. Once approved, I intend to sell some and then go big on this promo.

    • What is the cost to withdraw this SG? Can I send to Trust Wallet?

      • Sent mine to Metamask wallet.

        • Value is on the way down big time. Any idea how their guarantee works?

          • +1

@tunzafun001: My understanding is they guarantee you the value of SG based on the time of purchase, say when you purchased 01 June when coin was $2.00, you get approved 01 Sep, the value becomes $0.5. You can cash out at guaranteed value or choose to hold until it becomes more than $2.00. The 100% Crypto back does not guarantee value though, understandably so.

            • @lilkid28: Hmmm, so how long have you got to chose the USDT option?
I bought $80 worth of stuff in their last 100% eBay promotion. Value is now reported as $20.

Even if the market value of the SocialGood cryptocurrency (which was received from a merchant that is "Purchase Guaranteed") falls, the company will guarantee the SG value with a USDT equivalent to the Guaranteed Value at the time the SocialGood status was set to "Pending."

              • @tunzafun001: If you purchase during 100% event, it's not under the guaranteed value. The coins you get when approved just becomes valued according to the market price.

                • @lilkid28: The original promotion when I bought was part of the guarantee. I'm aware the current promotion is not though.

                  • +1

@tunzafun001: The one in May? AFAIK, when it's 100% cashback, it's not guaranteed, whether in May event or July/August.

Sr all, can't edit my post

update from me 05 Jul: I have successful withdrawn SG

    1x eBay transaction 5May 102SG
    1x eBay transaction 1Jun 52SG

Withdrawn to Bittrex, took approx 1-2 hours

Seems like both transactions got approved at the same time few days ago, so cashback period might be 30-60 days

Unfortunately for me SG price is around 1.9 USDT atm (was 3.2USD when shopping)

    Good luck to all

    • +2

Did you sell your SG coins?

      • Nah not yet, I left it pending order until reaching 2.5USDT/SG :)

Not sure if I can hold on to it any longer

        • hi, they just started a buying competition, so the price might go up. bittrex has bad ratings?

          • @Cave Fire: buying competition?

any link for that? sounds odd

I'm unaware of Bittrex rating, used approx 2 years

            • +1

@leonard157: sg started the buying competition, it's on their twitter etc. Seems like a bunch of crypto shillers gave bad reviews for bittrex, lowering it's rating.

  • Does anyone know if Aliexpress works on all products? or only "Affiliated products" like cashrewards?

    • It filters products automatically. So any item the app shows is accepted (if in the right category).

  • I found I had to download the app first and then click the app image to get it to work, anyone else experience that?

  • Have to admit I was sceptical but I’ve already received my referral bonus, made an eBay purchase last week which is now confirmed with SG crypto in my account and the only thing that is not great is the app, but it still works!

    • +1

You made a purchase last week and got approved already? Or do you mean purchase has tracked and in pending status? As far as I know and from my previous purchases, purchases track within 24 hours for eBay, and will get approved at the end of following month (min 30 days)

      • I didn’t say approved, I did say confirmed which means the same as tracked/pending! It takes up to 7 days to display in your SG account. It’s the same as cashback, it’s in your account for x days in case you return the item.

        • +1

That's what I thought, but I think confirmed is closer meaning to approved then tracked/pending. Anyway, this project is definitely the bomb. Surprised not many people using this more. No brainer for me especially for eBay and Aliexpress purchases.

          • @lilkid28: Yeah fair call. Yeah exactly that’s what shocked me too so thought I’d add a comment in case someone read it. I’ve rarely used Aliexpress is it any good?

            • @bobwokeup: Yes but they show prices before GST and shipping times can vary… a lot. Also keep in mind a lot of sellers will have limited English skills so if you need to contact them it can sometimes be a little difficult.

              • @Hintswen: Ah I see good to know. Sounds like eBay but worse. Would you say generally speaking the prices are better?

                • @bobwokeup: For cheap stuff and can't find on eBay is ok. And if you don't mind waiting a few weeks to a couple months.

                  • @lilkid28: Cheers will keep that in mind in future. The stuff on eBay that is from China takes months so sounds like not much difference.

  • I'm mildly sus of this, but am i still gonna try using it? hell yeah

    • Well, use CR or Shopback 2% or this? No brainer for me lol. Even stacks with promo codes.

      • +1

literally lmao. like even if we don't get much, i'm sure it'll end up being more than what shopback would have given us
