Looks like a decent deal. Cheapest has been $138.93. Should be a good monitor for office work.

you would need a raspberry pi etc plugged in all the time
Yep, but can make something pretty special especially with some free Pi software called Dynaframe, or some of the other projects at https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/7-fabulous-raspberry-pi-pictur…
interesting project..
good to try just for learning..
though not sure if I want to waste energy leaving big monitor like this on all day just to show some pics or weather data..
Might be more suitable for office environment.
Most of the data we can see on our phones or tablet anyways..
Ordered one to do just that!
Got it last year, great work monitor for the price. But looking to upgrade to xiaomi 34" 😜
how is it in quality for general web surfing, videos and gaming?
how many monitors you got setup?
IPS colors and viewing angles any good?
75hz any good?
Great for watching movies, sorry I don't game 😔
Viewing angles- not watching from sides.
Perfect for general use and videos.
If you are looking for a monitor for gaming, you should check those 144Hz+
I got one for my GF to play games on, the viewing angles/colours are great for the price. She doesn't play high refresh as her gpu isnt that powerful.
IMO great value for money IPS panel with good warranty
GF to play games on
she is a keeper
Does this monitor has a slight yellow tint when viewing a white background?
Not really. I have the 27 inch and it's great. Use bias lighting to help even out the perceived contrast.
how you setup bias lighting?
led light strip around the back of of the screen.
Works the best if you have a wall behind the screen to reflect the light.
Mine does, have been wondering whether its an issue, or just how these panels are?
Thanks for that. Won’t be buying then.
There is a super easy fix for this, you can tune the intensity of the Red Green and Blue channels. Mess with these values until you reach satisfactory colours.
@theguwithnoname: Yeah most monitors aren't calibrated very well from the factory, just tweak it how you like.
@theguwithnoname: Do you do that in the OS?
Monitor settings menu doesn't have proper RGB sliders from what I can see.
@jp1011: Sorted it now, does look a lot better. Cheers
The 27incher for $189 with speakers is a bargain!
1080p
Yes, that's the resolution.
not nice on 27"
i can see pixels in the text when I saw one in a store
not really good for web surfing if you reading lots text
Just note, that the model you linked doesn't have height adjustment.
S2721HS is the same monitor with height adjustment - $219.20
Agree. Equal cheapest I think (except for price error $168.60 which I just managed to get).
Doesn't have adjustable stand; mine sits on a pile of annual reports.
Got two for my wife. Thanks.
Good trade!
Surprise that the wife was only worth two
Used for used, or used for new? ;)
Got this one, pretty good for basic use!
We have one of these from the outlet. Nothing fancy but gets the job done for the price.
Wish these were black, either way it's a good deal as most monitors that cost $140 are 60hz IPS with a fixed stand.
In the site I could see the price to be $173.75 (after 20% off). Am I missing something.
The coupon is a discount on top of that.
Try adding it to cart then using the coupon, it doesn't commit you .
OOS
BTW this also has display port not just hdmi
This monitor is awesome. I got it last year and very happy with it. However, the 75 Hz with FreeSync only works with AMD graphics card. I tried contacting their support about getting it to work with Nvidia graphics cards (GTX 1070 Ti) but they informed it was not supported. I think it would be a really good option if you have an AMD graphics card and planning to game at 1080p.
does it have yellow tint when viewing white screen?
wonder 75hz makes any different for daily usage or gaming?
Shame it only works on AMD
Hi. I didn't notice any yellow tint or colour issues. 75Hz might have some noticeable boost but I am quite content even with 60 Hz as long as the frame rate is constant. There might be a way to overclock the monitor for a higher refresh rate, but I haven't tried because 60 fps is fine for me. I still think it's very good value for money because the screen nice and you can adjust the height and tilt of the monitor as well.

Has anyone got it delivered to them yet?
I just placed an order, it says "Delivery: Estimated between Thu. 3 Jun. and Thu. 10 Jun."
Did you guys have had to wait for almost a month for the delivery?
Delivery is usually 4 weeks for these dell monitor deals. It's a little bit disappointing that they are selling monitors they don't have in stock. But I guess the cheap price makes up for it (if you can wait).
If you can't wait, you can always cancel the order by contacting them.
That's fair. I can wait for 4 weeks if the deal is good. Thanks for the clarification, cheers!
When I ordered on April 29 the delivery estimate was May 28- June 4. It's shipped today and estimated delivery is May 11. Hopefully you'll get it a bit sooner than the estimate.
Woohoo, exciting! I hope it turns out to be a good monitor!
Good to make a digital photo frame maybe?
