  • Am I missing something? Says 12 and 24 month contracts only then also:

*Min 12 month contract. Minimum contract cost $708.45 (excludes modem & TALK services). Subject to availability.

$60 for a 25 down plan on a 12 month contract after a $10 discount is hardly cheap..

    • When your FTTN line speed is limited to 25 down, $60 a month is about as cheap as you will get if you want quality. Aussie is charging $79 a month. Makes me sick that the people 9 houses away on the corner can get 100 down but I'm at the end of the line and they are at the start. :(

Having been a Fuzenet customer for years until I finally got onto the NBN quality isn't a term I associate with them.

        • Thanks for the heads up as i am looking at churning away from Aussie.

          • @Karlotta - Margarita: To be fair I was on non-NBN HFC that Fuzenet was pretty much my only option for a provider.

The HFC depended on a microwave link for connectivity at one point, but that was on a pole that was badly affected in windy and rainy weather - I argued with them for 6 months about high levels of packetloss before I got the NBN installed instead.

I guess on the NBN they're just another reseller.

          • @Karlotta - Margarita: Have a look at Superloop

ABB are $69 a month for their 25/10 plan, not sure why you’re thinking it’s $79 a month.

Superloop are offering 25/10 for $54.95 a month for the first 6 months then $59.95 ongoing, why would you bother with Fuzenet?

      • Aussie charges 69 a month for unlimited 25/10 and Superloop charge 60 a month for unlimited 25/10

Nothing special as actually more expensive than others (unless you want premium ABB/Superloop). Tangerine 25 Mbps is $44.90/month for 6 months. No contract.

They've got try harder than that. Latest Exetel deal is 50/20 for $50 a month no contract!

      • Just the first example I could find to show this 'free month' is BS.

        Over 6 months:-
        5x$59.95 = $299.75 - Fuzenet
        6x$44.90 = $269.40 - Tangerine

$30 cheaper not having a 'free month'.

I was forced to use Fuzenet when living in Meriton apartment as it's the only service provider. Didn't have good experience with them…

  • Tangerine currently have $54.90 for 6 months (no contract) and it’s 50mbps. $5 cheaper a month and double maximum mbps.

    Superloop 50/20 $59 p/m
    Tangerine 50/20 $55 p/m
    Exetel 50/20 $50 p/m

No contract involved for the above, even if they are 6-month honeymoon prices.

    => NO DEAL!

    Contract!!!!!….Seriously……………..In this ever changing world.

  • Ignore this provider, seriously. The worst experience ever. Has been locked to use it on Meriton, terrible speed and even worse customer support.

  • Does anybodu have a preferred lbn provider?
