Thanks skid and jv. Are you two saying the opposite thing? lol
I presume you guys are users. How's the non-stick coating quality like? Do you see the coating is already peeling off?
I bought the air fryer last year in May when it came out. Its great, but I stopped using it because I bought the oven style one from aldi and I only have space to have one out at a time. The basket didn't peel in the 7 months I used it. It's big enough to fit a whole chicken and veggies etc. Made awesome pork belly. Paid $100 for it last year.
Preferred the oven style one because I don't use the old gas oven in the rental. Can pretty much make everything in the oven style AF that you could in the oven (including baking). I haven't tried roasts in it.. basket style AF does look easier for roasts.
The coating hasn't started to peel off, but it is quite thin. I also bought it last year for $100.

My dearest j v Any product that comes out of aldi is a deal in and of itself. I spend my days worrying that I might not outlive the product life of the appliances I purchased. I long for a bigger freezer or dishwasher but they will not die.
any reviews on this dryer?
I hate to be that guy but productreview has to be simultaneously the most and least trusted review site in Australia. There's people who absolutely love the product, then there's people who hate it. Have a look at OzBargain reviews on that site lol.
I suggest look at another place for reviews on the dryer
Avoid vented dryers - heats up your house and bumps your power bill considerably.
It is cheap though.
Winter's coming
Why would you even buy a small top loading washing machine these days?
I understand that some people want a large 10kg top loader because they want to wash their 5 doonas at a time but for everyone else a front loader makes much more sense.
Why would you even buy a top loader…
Lots of water, lint, almost clean yet washed out clothes.
Oh yes, you bend instead of squatting down to (un)load it.
front loader much more sensitive on unbalanced load. wasted hours of my life waiting for the load to balance, as it wont spin on unbalanced load.
I heard of benefits of front loader, but I'll not be getting another one.
Seems like a crappy front loader.
Never had to wait for my load to balance or to DIY balance.
Any feedback anywhere? anyone?
Here for all.

I picked one of these up last year and I'm pretty happy with it (price considering).
Basket is squarish with rounded corners.
The non stick appears to be fine still….though I only use non metal utensils to pick up the food etc. Just need to do what the instructions say regarding cleaning and oiling (spray oil is your friend here) to keep this going well. I'd say I use my machine 2 times a week on average so your mileage may vary.
I've roasted more than a few whole chickens, pork belly, roasts etc in it and most have turned up perfectly….just need to work out the timing and temps for certain roasts to make them even better.
Very happy with mine, purchased last year for $10 more.
I'm basically comparing this with Devanti 7L air fryer @Amazon $119.95
Though I've read an article a while ago saying that the non-stick coating some cheap air fryers use may create harmful substances (cancer causing chemicals) when heated up. Not sure how valid that article was though.
$10 cheaper than last year.
Think I'll get one in 2030 then…
looking for some opinions here…
We use oven (Westinghouse electric) to prep chicken nuggets / fish fingers / fries twice a week (15mins max each time) for kids lunch box, wondering if its better to use Airfryer for that or continue with oven?
Air fryers are generally quicker to use and also a lot easier to clean.
At the end of the day, they're small/compact ovens. Much more convenient imo.
We bought a Kmart air fryer recently and have pretty much never used the oven ever since!

Climate change is not man-made.
Cheaper to run?
Does anyone know how Aldi air fryers are comparing to those $500 Phillips ones?
The Aldi ones are quite a bit cheaper…
you don't have to sleep outside Aldi for 2 days to buy the Phillips one?
No.
Where's the whole catalogue?
In the stores - usually by the register and also at the front benches
Not to mention the staff member serving you can cop a written warning, if someone from Head Office catches them on Surveillance not offering a catalogue.
Wowza, I better let them do it instead of shutting them down then!
@nuts: Well I was referring to the new one. Thought it might of been uploaded online.
I was offered the old one today
Anyone have an idea of max temp? (looking to cook at 250C)
possibly someone that owns a similar/ previous model?
Most of the current crop of air fryers max, out at 200°C
that's a shame. would of really liked to see one get up the 240-250C.
thanks for the reply.
I might get the dryer but my only option is to put dryer on top of my front loader. User manual says not suitable to put it on washing machine.
Anyone does that from previous deals or an easy DIY maybe with some matting between washer and dryer to take the vibration?
The rack mounts look nice but im not gonna spend $300 on a rack for a $200 dryer lol
Missed out on Air Fryer.
No stock in nearby Aldi stores (in Sydney Hills suburbs)
Is there any deal on Air Fryer anywhere else (under $100)?
Anyone knows what the shape of the basket is, round or square?
