Is it not $129.99 because it's only $25 off of kogan?
1TB P1 is $116.10 if you have ebay plus https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Crucial-P1-1TB-M-2-2280-NVMe-PCI… I’d wait for the Kingston a2000 or wd sn550 to come on sale often under $130 and far better than crucial.
i prefer a2000 with dram before someone on ozbargain told me the freeze issue.
I read that and it was referring to a laptop running Linux going into power saving mode so would probably affect most ssd’s. If running windows, you’ll have no issues and I’m not sure who would run power saving on a desktop.
I bought the P1 about 18 months ago and am happy with it as my primary drive. The P2 is supposed to offer moderate improvements, so I can recommend it. These entry level offer good performance for average windows tasks and only really slow down if you are doing long sustained writes to the drive such as video editing.
Off topic for this particular drive but relevant to SSD discussion in general, have a look at the link below. I hope it does not forbode a repeat of the GPU mining madness and consequent pricing spike.

This was $95 in a recent eBay 20%(+5%) off afterpay sale.
$95 for 1TB P2? sounds not possible
Slightly cheaper using the Latitude Pay offer at Catch ($150.34, minus $25 = $125.34)
Careful how? Are they coming for my kneecaps?
