      Free pickup?

    • I can see free pickup, otherwise delivery starts from $11 to sydney.

Ack! I wish I saw this first!

    • Why is this better?

      • PCIE 4 and some other small things. Not a huge difference for most.

      • I stand corrected, both are good at those price points. The only thing is the power delivery is better with the B550.

        I got overexcited.

Some of the B550s are a lot higher quality than the low tier x570s.

        • According to this:

          https://linustechtips.com/topic/1137619-motherboard-vrm-tier…

They are on the same Tier A: 200A current draw.

@japik: In theory, both of these boards should be able to run the 3950x at 200 watts.

That stated here are the VRMS:

            Elite:
            *14-phase[6x2+2]. Twin Design.
            *Vishay Dr.MOS SiC651C 50A.
            *PWM:ISL229004 (8-phase).

            X570-P:
            *12-phase[4x2+2x2]. Twin Design.
            *Vishay Dr.Mos SiC639 50A.
            *PWM: ASP1106GGQW (6-phase).

This shows that the VRM is better on the Elite than the X570-P.

Granted, the X570-P does have a better PCB, so it should overclock RAM better.

But, since the X570-P also lacks a USB type C header, the Elite V2 is a better buy in my own opinion.

            • @BlameTheCat: Thanks for the thorough explanation, was insightful.

I guess I chose the Asus X570-p 2 weeks ago as my b350 board was giving me problems and missed out on the ASRock x570 steel legend deal so thought this was next best board at that price point.

If I had seen this earlier I would have chosen this but I am content with my purchase.

    • ugh. fans on mobo now making a come back?

      • Yeah hope not. Just AMD's high end (X570 chipset) right now

      • The new X570S chipset should get rid of the fan.

      • They almost never come on.

    • That is almost too good to be true pricing, but looks like it's a physical store that has been around for years. I wonder if it's a pricing error.

I have purchased the Asus x570-p and chose
shipit overnight express and got it next day.

So it's not a pricing error.

  • Dammit I paid 239 for Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite Motherboard with PCCG

  • Gone in a flash… Must've only had a couple in stock.

    Shit board, multiple problems

Useless comment without evidence or explanation

      • Do you wonder why it's on sale? Look at reviews online, people have said the board dies within a couple of months. Buy it if you want lol
